NCLEX Test Repeater

Hello Everyone so unfortunately I am a Nclex test repeater. I recently retested and got the bad pop up once more it’s been devastating. I have tried Uworld , I have Saunders questions, I recently got some audio of Mark K and I also joined a self paced Nclex course but nothing seems to be helping. There is a lot of sources out their on the market but the material is very similar I have noticed to all these courses .. I truly need some motivation for anyone who has been in my place before and UNDERSTANDS this feeling I’m NOT giving up but one piece of paper is putting a hold on my whole life I am asking for any help Please or advise. Thank you in advance and once I pass I want to give back and help someone else whose in my shoes.. My personal email is [email protected] Nursing Students NCLEX

Happy Faces, as someone who took a break between when you graduated, and when you got your license, would you say that after getting your license that it was hard to find a job? Did they ask you when you graduated, or did they just ask you when you got your license and end it there? Did they take into account the fact that it took some time for you to pass?

I ask because I took the test, didn't pass, got discouraged and didn't think I'd pass, took a break, took the test and just passed in 75. (like, literally just passed on the 14th)

First of all congratulations and I’m happy u dint give up! 14 times fighting for license and not giving up is just amazing! At work interview they won’t ask with how many qs and on how many tries you passed ur NCLEX. The job demand of nursing is such that especially if you applying in long term care facilities, you just get hired real quick. They barely go over ur resume. They most likely look at ur experiences and whether you have license or not. But if u try at hospital, that WHY question might pop up. You just have to be prepared for your answers if they asks. Good luck!

OMG, I don't have that type of resilience, I would have given up. No, I mean on the 14th of this month, like 3 days ago, haha. But had I tried that many times and passed, it would be means for celebration for sure, and even though I didn't do that many tries, I still celebrate because I took a break and somehow managed. Honestly, it's all about the way you go into the test and how you take your failures and turn them into victories. Looking at the one(s) you failed, like REALLY looking at it/them and seeing where you went wrong and studying from that. They do have a paper that tells you what parts you did above the passing line, at and below the passing line, so focus on those you were below, then at, then above. Don't leave anything out, but focus harder on your weaker parts for sure. That's what I did and it worked. I did UWorld, but honestly for me, it was about doing a bunch of questions and getting used to doing them and used to the question types and rationales. I loved the rationales. I did them every day even if I couldn't do 75 in one go, I did it on the train, while on breaks just about anywhere I could sit and read, I did them. Different people learn differently though.

But THANK YOU! I will look into LTC facilities. They are definitely in need, and even if it's not my FIRST choice, it's a choice! It's a step in the door. Now I am just waiting for my license to come in the mail...6 weeks, but it will be so worth it.

Been there....... Mark K is what did it for me! I passed in 75 after listening and taking notes......

I have another 45 days to retake as well. I knew I failed as I walked out the center because half of my questions were on maternity/newborn, my absolute worse section.

Took NCLEX today and got the good pop. My 2nd time testing with all 265. I used Uworld & Mark Klimek & of course Prayers. This post inspired me to keep trying and not give up . You never know what may inspire or encourage someone else. Thank You
