nclex test center in the Philippines...

a few weeks ago, i heard that a decision to set up an nclex test center in the Philippines would be made this august. If this is true, i hope and pray that the NCSBN would agree to setting up a test center here for us. Anyone else heard (read) of this?

i hope this is going to happen... but the security here in the philippines is an issue.... i hope that NCSBN would agree in setting up a review center here for us... :)

I still think that it is not going to happen. Now with the issues coming up of schools possibly falsifying documents there, I do not see it as a go. Things are going to be going under a microscope first. And security is the biggest issue.

Security was the main issue that came up that kept Manila from getting a center when they were deciding on an Asian location, and Hong Kong won out. It did not make it in the second round, and I will be extremely surprised for the next.

And especially now that the government is trying to slow the loss of nurses to other countries, since so many physicians and dentists are now involved. They will look to make it more difficult, rather than easier.

i think they will not continue to have a testing site in our country because of the leakage issue in NLE.

if that said leakage is really true,all i can say is shame on those unscrtupulous people who are responsible of it.just bec. of their selfish act our chance of having nclex testing center here in the phils. will be at stake or we'll have no chance at all. it is very sad ,having nclex center here will benefit us all filipino nurse and save lots of money and effort . but let's not lose hope ,let's keep on praying for it. god always hear good prayers .may the lord god bless us filipino nurses and also to all nurses out there .

there was a news today that NCLEX officials want us passers (i passed without any leakage) have some retake. and having an NCLEX center here in the country might not push through because of the leakage. well, looks like alot of victims here now and just only few benefited..ah! hope these things will pass. i can't even wait to work or take the required exams. hmmm..i was talking to one of our batchmates and she told me that around 83% of the countries taking in nurses here in our country will not accept june passers..? how true is it? we are left hanging...

yes, it was announced by them, last week or so.

please take the time to just do a search.

nclex exam will not be offered in the philippines.
