If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!
I took the NCLEX yesterday Friday the 18th. I left the test with the emptiest feeling I have ever had in my life. I felt like the test wasn't overly hard, and that's the problem. I had like 5 SATA, 5/6 Math and all the rest were prioritizing and drugs. I know that it shouldn't matter how many SATA's I got but I am nervous that it meant that I was doing bad. The math i had was tricky, the mcg/kg/min style questions that had like 5 steps. The test shut off in 75?s. It's out of my hands now but I have been praying that the Lord will let me pass. I have a job already and will lose it if I fail. Please help me out with your prayers. Thank you
I'll be praying for you! Could it be that it seemed easy because you had prepared, and people were paying for you? I've read from so many that what you are feeling is normal. You are in my prayers.:redbeathe
My sister went over questions and lab values with me on the way to the exam in the car, and it really helped....Is studying with someone or even in a group helpful to you? I find myself talking to much with my friends when I study with them. Doing questions was the only thing that made me feel more confident when I took the test...b/c I visualized me doing the cards and never looked at the number of questions until I ran out of time.
Thank you for this idea - I had honestly never thought of this - you just recruited my husband into a new job
good luck to all who will be testing this week. keep a clear mind and stay positive and don't hang around any negative people or listen to negative thoughts!!!!! the information is in your head and you know the work!!! do not let nclex intimidate you!!! you all will be in my prayers.
those who are awaiting results, i know it is hard to try and relax and not to worry, but please try. i will be praying for all of you as well. please keep us updated.
god bless you all!!!
Thank you for the prayer thread. I take the NCLEX next week (7/23) and am worried about passing. I've been studying for the last few weeks, but it doesn't seem like enough, plus my mom just passed away very unexpectedly. Everyone taking the NCLEX is in my prayers!
Dear mom2mand,
I'll be thinking of you, here is a prayer for you:
Dear Good and Precious Father, I give you all honor, glory and praise. You are such as awesome God. I ask for the forgivness of my sins. Thank you for mom2mand. Thank you for her courage to answer the call to become a nurse. I pray that you would be with her as she continues to review for her test on Wednesday. Lord reveal to her the specific areas where she needs to focus these next few days as she reviews. On Wednesday, give her confidence as she begins her test. Give her clarity of mind, and help her as she answers each question. Help her to recall the information needed to pass this exam. Unclutter her mind of unrelated facts. Give her the peace that transcends all understanding. In Christ's name I pray, Amen.:redbeathe
To all of you testing this week, God be with you, here is a prayer for you:
Father, I lift you name above all others and praise you with all of my heart. I ask for your grace and mercy for each of your dear children testing this week. Father, remind them of Your Holy Spirit, whom is their comforter. When they are afraid, and unsure, or weary, during the exam, help them to cry out to you. Give them clarity of thought, open their minds to what they have reviewed. Give them confidence as they begin testing, be with them as they answer each questions and help them to select the best right answer each time!! As they leave the varying testing centers across the contry this week, help them to leave in peace, resting in you and what you have accomplished through them. In Christ's name I pray. Amen.:redbeathe

I know we have to figure out what we are not doing right; but in all honestly it seems as though we have both studied massive amounts of information, let alone read and re-read content to reassure ourselves of our competency. All my friends keep telling me "you will pass, don't worry." But it is hard not to worry because I still have to work full time and once again worry for the next 45 days about taking the test again if I didn't pass.
