If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!
Actually, you did a very good job of explaining the complex program that analyzes the responses to the test. As you go through the test, the computer is constantly calculating a score. If you miss a question, it will drop to a lower level of difficulty. If you miss that question it will continue to do that until you get one right or "lose" so many "points" the calculation indicates you couldn't earn enough points to pass. Hope this makes sense.
hi everyone! This is just to encourage those of you who are anxious and about to take the exam!
i took my exams on the 6th of October. i had a grueling 265 questions. i took up the whole 6 hrs plus it wasn't a pleasant experience . i went to my car and could not drive back home. Then i remembered that God was always with me in any situation. I prayed to Him and asked Him to take control of the results because it was beyond me!
i went home and my friend understood that i wasnt in the best frame of mind and took me to go see a romantic comedy that night. the following day i was still unsure of what the outcome of the results would be.
today i went to my computer and i tried out the pearson review trick, and it gives me the good pop up Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time.' i guess that means i passed...and if i did to God be all the glory!!!!!
God bless to all! I will be taking my NCLEX this late November, and I'm feeling the pressure and anxiety... all but I can do is pray and study...
You know that feeling when you were in college and the Finals are coming up and you know behind that finals is the SEMBREAK, and that you just want to get that exam over with to have that sembreak... yeah I'm having that now... lol
PRAY PRAY PRAY...
Lord give me(us who will be taking the NCLEX) STRENGTH and FOCUS to prepare for this exam so that we may pass and become registered nurses; therefore help those of people who are sick and in need of help. Amen.
:) God Bless to all!
I am taking my exam Thursday and have been feeling down today after doing questions and have high and low scores. I know that God has control of this control because I have prayed for peace of mind and that if I should take the exam and I really do have peace in my heart and all over! I am still nervous, but just please remember me in your prayers. Thanks!
Hello All,
Just took the NCLEX this morning and I feel absolutely SICK to my stomach to the point where I don't how I'm going to survive until I get the results (in 2 days). Seriously, I felt like I bombed it completely. Seriously, there were meds I'd never heard of and several "select all that apply". Oh god I feel sick. Please help me get through the next couple of days. I am so worried that I've failed. I am so afraid.

Hello Everyone, I want to tell my story to inspire those that feel down after failing. I finally passed the Nclex on my 6th tried. I feel that this time I really prepared, I study hard 10-12 hours Monday-Friday and 6-8 hours on the weekends. I had 177 questions before I ran out of time. I was at the testing center for 6 hours. I used Kaplan 2010 Edition, Saunders Q&A, Nclex 4000 CD Software, Saunders comprehension Review and Prioritizing, Delegation, Assignment. I did 100 questions per day, which I think really helped. I did not read any of the books, I just did questions and study the rationales and took notes on a word document on illness that I did not know or when I came across a new term. I also study about 75 medications from Kaplan medication book. Well my point is that in order the pass the Nclex you must get really prepare. I never did many questions on the other times, and I failed. Before heading to the exam I ate a light meal and drank a RED Bull an hour before the exam. If I did it, you guys can do it. Never give up on your dreams. Good luck to everyone who are still waiting to pass boards.:chuckle:chuckle:chuckle:chuckle:chuckle:chuckle
