any nclex takers in october-share study tips

hi everyone

i m taking the exam in oct. oct first week to be exact. anyone taking in oct can share their tips and study plans. lets support each other

oh gosh hun, I have no idea. I'm so sorry you have to wait so long. I just found out that back in the day they had to do the tests on paper and wait MONTHS for the results, like 4-6 months. I would be a wreck. thats such a long time to wait meanwhile I was a mess waiting 48 hours.

How were the questions you were getting? What type were you getting before the computer turned off?

Im happy for you !!!:clpty:I just called California board of nursing awhile ago, and I talked to the same person that ive been talking since the time that I was trying to update my information. And she told me that even if I have SSN the result wiill still be mailed and they told me they don't have online verification. I just went on pearsonvue.com/nclex and checked my "unofficial" results. I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovendove ty for the reply and congrats again. The whole test in general for me is hard and it made me feel like I haven't studied. I feel like at first it was hard then getting harder...then at later part like 10 items i guess its like getting easier im not sure or im just tired..I really feel I failed...But truely hope that i still do...All I have to do now is to wait...its an agony but its all what i have for now. Actually I waited from the beginning of July (when I took the test) until the end of August for my results. They were mailed and yes it was a 2 day test paper and pencil. THe exam was broken down by subject: Medical, surgical, peds, psychiatric and obgyn.We had to score at least 350 and it did tell us what our score was. I took mine in Michigan.

hmmm, maybe it's different here in ny. A coworker of mine was saying her sister had to wait months and was a wreck about it; no one could even ask her about the test without her freaking out over not knowing.

oh my God!!! THankyou Lord. TOday 5:47 am saturday. I saw on california board site I PASSED!!!! I almost can't believe it!!!! God is so good!!! 242 to 245 question for 4 hours. God is so good he won't really put something in your plate if he knows you can't make it! I passed for the first take! Thank you I really don't want to go thru that process again. Thank you everyone!! Now I can really say im an US-RN:nurse:
