Okay I took my nclex finally today! I stopped at 85 questions! I'm not sure whether i passed or not! I'm really scared!!!! I had tooooooo many select all that apply questions and wasn't sure if I was answering it correctly! I also had a lot of med questions! I wasnt expecting to go only 85 questions! I'm really nervous and really don't know if I'm going to pass or fail! It's killing me and I have to wait 4 weeks bcuz I live in CALI!...AHHHHHHHH
Well, I'll admit...............I got my results yesterday, I failed. I had either 202 or 203 questions. I had ALOT of all that apply and I'm pretty sure that I got all of them wrong. I can retest in 45 days, so I'm gonna study study study! Advice: DO NOT invest in the NCLEX PN EXAM CRAM book!!!!! Does anyone have any advice of which books to study? I bought a Saunders book yesterday and I have the Kaplan book. Any advice, thanks!
I have the EXAM CRAM, also Saunders, and KAPLAN, I also took a review course, so basically the notes from the review course was the one I studied the most, it did help a lot!..anyways I'M really hoping that I PASSED! AHHH!! well I know you will pass your next one because you have so much determination!! Good Luck! I'll keep updating if I passed or not. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME PASS!! HAHAHAH *CROSSING FINGERS;)
I took my NCLEX 2-7 and it turned off @ 86. While it is hear say about NCLEX... I didnt really have questions get harder or easier... it was all in momentum in my opinion. I had a LOTTTTTT of safety, teaching, who youd see first, rooming pts w certain precaution requirements... and also FYI make sure to study allergy meds... a HUGE DUH DUH DUH as I didnt touch on that inmy 4 weeks of major major studying and preparing... just knwo your meds and lab values ... think of who you will become... a brand new nurse, think of the things you should know being a new nurse... basic, but important... I onyl had one math cal. and only 3-5 SATA and get this, I had 2 questions asked twice!! anyone have that happen? my clas mate had that happen too...--:heartbeatJulz
I just took my NCLEX PN this morning and it shut off at 85 questions. I walked out feeling like I failed because I don't feel like I really knew if I was answering the questions right or wrong. It was hard to tell whether one question was harder than the one before. There were Meds I have never heard of and so many select all that apply questions. I pray I passed, the next 48hrs are going to be terrible!!

I had a lot of "select all that apply" questions. I also had math and cardio. I had heard the same thing as you about everytime you get one right they give you a harder question. I also did an ATI course online with an instructor. When I got the 85 questions I was scared but my instructor told me she had never had a student get 85 questions and fail. Not to say that never happens but I do believe its pretty rare. I really bet you passed :)
