I have the saunders 3rd edition and I have been doing the cd that came with it and I have only been getting like 60-70% right of 100. I am so worried about passing after doing the cd. Is anyone else doing this cd and what are your average scores?

I have saunders 4th edition and I had been getting 70 to 82% in the test and I failed the nclex twice . Don't rely on your saunders score. The nclex questions are much harder than saunders book questions. Good luck with your nclex exam.
OMG!! Majority of people been saying hey all you need is the saunders and you will do fine! now I am worried! Today, Im calling my school to see if it's not to late to joining the nclex rvw starting middle next month (Im learning its free thru my union) so im definitely not gonna pass it up! Im just not that thrilled in seeing the teachers again! (lol)... apparrently, they are using the same book and recommended it. thanks for the heads up and GOOD LUCK! i WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON HOW I DO (TEST IN OCTOBER)...ONCE i learn how to make certain forums and people my favorites...good LUCK!!!! (im new to this)

The content in the Saunders book is good, but the questions are easier than NCLEX. Most people use Saunders for content and use Kaplan or Exam Cram for questions. As for myself, I bought Saunders, Kaplan, and Exam Cram. Didn't like any of them and went back to my med surg books to review and answered a few NCLEX 4000 questions. I passed and didn't really see that any of those books would have helped.

How many Saunders questions did you do? I am planning to do all on the CD (4200) and am also using La Charity and some NSCBN quizzes. But, Saunders is by far what I am using - doing about 150Q/day. Just curious if you used it extensively in your studying and still didnt pass? Or did you just do a few quizzes? Just trying to gauge if I need to chANge things up a bit. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Best of luck to you! If any one else had input please let me know.

I was doing exam mode and my scores weren't very good but then I switched to quiz mode and did way better. I took my nclex today so we will see! I didn't feel like the the study guides really helped that much though. I did about 100 questions a day.
Good luck Nurse Barbie! Im sure you passed :) I have just been doing study mode - basically going through the entire CD from start to finish. I am so nervous. accccckkk
