i have to thank everybody on these forums today because if not for all of you i don't know if i would've been prepared. i took my nclex today and boy that was a nerve racking incident. was nervous the whole time and the ac was out in the testing center but there were fans (talk about uncomfortable). took me about 2 hours, stopped @ 75 questions. i took my time on each question making sure "does the answer answer the question" i cam out of that test literally dissapointed cause i guessed on many and was unsure about some.
how i prepared, i strictly used kaplan, read the book and watched all the videos, only finished question trainer 1-6 and scored in the 60's on all of them, i used the qbank and only did 60% of the bank. i read all the rationales. scored from 50-to 60 on all. memorized lab values and the mnemonic's for infection control from these forms(this helped out the most hands down). only studied seriously for 3-4 weeks and was not confident going in but took it anyways. i did the pvt and got the good pop up so hopefully it's true.
good luck
