That is a myth. For example, a lot of people receive 75 questions (the minimum amount of questions) and MANY pass. Whether you receive an odd or even amount of questions is irrelevant to how well you did.
oh i forgot to mention...except minimum question of 85 or 75 and 205 or 265....except those..i read it somewhere on the internet...well it makes me believe because a lot of people i konw stopped on a odd no. and failed....and most people i know who stop on a even no. passed...

No truth to this whatsoever. You can pass or fail at any number. Out of all the people I know from both my LPN and ASN programs, only one did not pass and she did so at 90 questions. Everyone else passed with odd and even numbered questions.

I know someone who stopped at 80 & failed. This whole thing will drive you crazy. The odd numbers, the grey or blue screen,--next will be which chairs we are sitting on. This madness will not end until you know your actual score. I know because I did the same thing too but my issue was the "grey" screen.
Try to relax there is nothing you can do now seriously we can't predict this test.

Hey I guess I've been out of school too long. I haven't heard anything about this rumor. I finished LPN school in 1991 and took the written boards in New Orleans, La. (Not a fun experience, I might add!) Then I waited around checking the mail every day for SEVEN LONG WEEKS until I got my results in the mail. I passed, thank God, but it was a LONG seven weeks, like I said.
The going thing then was the size of the envelope, thick or thin. to tell if you passed or not. Never really figured that one out. I passed, thank goodness.
Then when I took RN boards, we took them on the computer and mine stopped at 75. I passed again but STILL had to wait for 6 weeks to get the results. I don't know which way drove me nuts more, but at least that's in the past.
Good luck, try not to stress.
