I know that this past April 2007 they make it a little harder to pass NCLEX. I know that is a fact. However, I have heard rumors from different ppl I have graduated with that have taken the test, and they say that there are 2 different tests; one being an easier one, and one being harder and with more questions. I have a very difficult time believing this.
A lot of people I graduated with got 75 questions and passed and others got in the 200 range and passed, however some are insisting that there are 2 forms. I think it's just a rumor coming from people in my area.... and I know NCLEX is a national test...... so has anyone heard anything like that recently?

They haven't made it harder by much something like 0.1 or 0.01%. As long as you study properly and do plenty of questions everything should be ok although not a guarentee as we all know. There is just the 1 exam it is the same nationally, maybe people have noticed the trial of the new style questions that some on here appear to be talking about and that is what comments are being made on

I agree with the above comment..... also according to kaplan....they quote that if you are answering questions above the level of difficutly needed to pass or far below the level needed to pass your exam will end at 75. so it may seem harder if one passes with 75 as they have coonsistently answered at or above the level of difficulty.......hope that makes sense.
