Nursing Students NCLEX

I applied in Florida Board of Nursing.I passed my nclex rn exam last feb 2009 then i took my ielts exam but i failed and i plan to take it again.is it ok even if i passed my nclex last 2009 then take ielts exam only now.is my nclex exam still valid?does it affect my nclex?what sh0uld i do first.pls help me.thank u

from where u belong basically???bcozz i think they do not need ielts...

NCLEX is the only test Florida uses. Did you get a Florida license after passing the NCLEX and have you met your continuing ed requirements?

I don't have license yet until now.is nclex exam valid forever?

Each state is different but we have seen posts from posters that haven't kept their license active for a long time and haven't nursed during that time and they had to retake the nursing exam ie NCLEX

How can i get a social security number if im not yet in the US? Florida Board of Nursing is

requiring me to get so that they will activate my license to make it valid already.pls help me

You need to address these questions to the Florida BON. They are the only ones who can tell you accurately and specifically what you need to do in order to get a license.

You can not get a US SSN until in the US on a valid work/immigrant visa

The FL BON said that i need to contact the social security for the SSN to make my license active but the social security personnel never give me an answer on how to process. Is it possible to make the license active even if u are not yet in the US?

Not without a US SSN if that is required. Some states will issue a license without it but seeing more and more state require a US SSN as apparently this is a federal requirement
