hi athletes. i just submitted my application to the BON and hopefully i will be eligible to write the nclex-rn. they said, it will take 6-8 mos to get the result. if found eligible, i will be writing the exam on march 2011. i hope it's ok with you guys... i graduated 8 years ago. i want to join you so i will have this drive to study. i need a group so i will not be alone studying i have saunders 4th ed. and kaplan. i'll start reading saunders now. i hope i could find study partner/s here. please keep on posting your progress and continue to give motivational advices. thank you and to all september / october takers, God bless you!

hi there.. me too I just applied to the BON California and I'm also waiting for my eligibility letter.. Where did you apply? What state?
My prayers go out to everyone that has to sit for the NCLEX. I have already taken it once recently and failed at &% questions. I did Kaplan Review Course, Saunders, Lipincott, and Helen Feur CD's. My anxiety got to the best of me because I had two mental breakdowns to the point that my hair was falling out. I decided to take a different approach this time and hire a private tutor and stick to only ONE study guide. My best advice to all that has yet to take it or that has taken it and failed is to practice study questions. My mistake was reading study material and not doing enough practice questions. Believe me people, you KNOW the material otherwise you wouldn't have made it through nursing school. I will keep everyone in my prayers as I wish that you will all do the same for me. We CAN and WILL get through this! :)
i applied to florida bon. when are you planning to write the exam? what study materials are you using & how do you study?
Probably by November.. I have comprehensive review for NCLEX RN by Hogan and I'm planning to register to kaplan and get the LaCharity book and the Davis Q and A.. Good luck to all of us...
