NCLEX-RN results in CA, is it true?

Published

Hello, my first post here, please help me if you can. I just took the NCLEX-RN on Thursday, June 1st. I haven't seen my name yet on the CA BRN website doing a license search. I know CA doesn't participate in quick results, but I have heard that the BRN will show your name and license number within 2 days if you have passed. Is this always the case or have some of you not seen your name for more than two days after taking the test and still passed? Thanks for your help!

has anybody recently (like this month) taken and passed the NCLEX-RN in CA? how long did it take to recieve your results? thanks

I took the test on moday June 5 and I found out today that I passed.

My name came up on the site. www.rn.ca.gov

I think this is rare to find out so fast.

When did you take it?

I took it last wednesday. I guess I didn't pass then.

Don't give up hope yet.

It took some of my friends 2 weeks to find out if they passed.

I will be praying for you.

I just checked the BRN website and my name was posted! I read my name over and over just to make sure it was really me. So to all in CA., who are getting discouraged because your name is not on the website after 2 days, don't lose faith. It took exactly a week for my name to appear on the BRN. That was even 2 days after I called the BRN to confirm that my file was in order.

Don't give up hope yet.

Thanks for the prayers!

and congrats to all who have passed.

That is complete rumor, it can actually be up to one month before you get your results, anywhere from three days to a month.

You have to wait 45 days to retest in CA.

I just graduated from Sierra College (in Rocklin, CA) on May 11, 2006. I took the NCLEX May 30th - STILL no result. Several of my classmates took their test on May 18, 19, 20th ---- STILL no results. The waiting is AWFUL, but at least we are all going crazy together. :crash_com

hi everybody...

i just want to ask about the ca_bon website. do they post rn's(who passed nclex already)... who still dont have any ssn?

i am really confused, all the names posted on the permanent license, are currently working rn's???

please...i am anxious and all and pretty much clueless.. :)

Hi

No. I dont think the CA BON would issue a permanent license to a NCLEX RN Passer without a social security number. My friend who came from the Philippines took awhile before she got her license because she has to apply for her social.

hi raynidae! just wanted to ask if you got your results yet? I still haven't gotten anything and I took the NCLEX on May 31st. Have you checked if your name is on the California Board of Resgistered Nursing website?

the names that areon the website are nurses that hold a ca rn license. passing the nclex-rn exam in ca will not give you a license until you can supply the brn with a ssn#.

so all that you see listed, can legally work in the us and have a ssn#.

it takes about three weeks to one month for you to get results if you do not have a ssn# and are not in the us.
