Nclex - rn preparation

Published

I would first like to say CONGRATULATIONS to all whom have taken the challenging NCLEX - RN Exam. :yeah: !!!!

Unfortunately, I was not as successful  I found out just a few days ago that I failed. Of course, I was very upset and as most of you have stated on your posts I went through much of the same experiences. I was at the testing center for 5 1/2 hours and took all 265 questions. The reason for my posting is not to focus on the past now but the future ;)

I have read so many interesting posts on how to prepare for the NCLEX - RN, a lot of attention focused on Suzanne's plan. I would like to hear from other's who followed her plan and their thoughts. (If you were successful and if you were not)

Thanks so much for your assistance.

i just joined the site, and I'm preparing for my NCLEX. So far, I've heard that you will get better result with suzanne's plan. It does'nt hurt to try it. Good luck!

Just have a good read in the forum or even use the search with Suzanne as key word and it will fetch up many threads thanking her for the plan and them passing

followed her plan and passed first time with 75 questions. Try it, you will succeed! Good Luck!

waitingforthedream,

I will try Suzanne's plan too. If it has this big success rate, why not??

Congratulations to those that passed and good luck to us, we have to pass.

I agree! I'm interested in trying Suzanne's method, too. I'm currently finishing up the Saunders NCLEX Review book, taking the quizzes at the end of each chapter and scoring at least 75% on each. I believe this is the FIRST step you must complete before requesting Suzanne's help. So far I have read nothing but GREAT reviews of her plan and am excited to see if it'll work for me.

I reviewed Suzanne's plan and understand her instructions however, I need clarification on two things if you could please assist me. 1) What is the cost of Suzanne's plan ? 2) Do you have to have your test date scheduled before speaking to her by PM, I ask because I noticed this is a question of hers or can you just give her your planned test date ?

It costs nothing, she does this to help us. She needs to know when you test because you need at least 6 weeks to complete the second part of her plan. She makes no exceptions to this. It is a wonderful plan, and she is a caring person who has helped many a student pass.

As mentioned it is free you just need to buy the Saunders comprehensive edition which at the moment varies depending whether doing RN or PN. She definitely needs a test date and will not send her plan out until closer to 2 months if testing is more than 2 months away

Hello everyone,

This is indeed a good news. waitingforthedream I had no idea that there is no charge for Suzanne's plan. She has a big heart then. All my respect.

I have read that we are allowed to use a calculator on the test. Is that true??

Thank you

The calculator is provided in a drop down screen on computer. They also give you an eraseable board to write on. FYI: The test is not as bad as they say it is!!
