NCLEX-RN...2nd time around

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hey everyone!

I have been viewing this site ever since I took my NCLEX-PN exam and felt all the information to be so helpful to me. SO now I joined in the hopes that I can help others!

I took my NLCEX-RN exam for the second time last Fri and found out via the WA state DOH website this AM that I passed!!! :balloons: :rotfl: :chuckle :p

I was just so sure I failed again because the last question I got was this therapuetic response question that was super easy... I was like oh come on we learned this the 1 st qtr of nursing school! The 1st time I took this test I thought I passed- I got 75 questions. This time I got 130 and was sure I failed... go figure.

My opinion on this test is that it is just plain WEIRD!!! My advice is to anyone taking it is to be as relaxed as possible. I have never had test anxiety but I swear during my 1st test I was having heart palpitations!!! :uhoh3: My Dr gave me a couple of Xanax and I felt a lot more relaxed. Not that I am pushing drugs but it sure helped me. Do whatever you have to do!!!

Best of luck to everyone, thanks for letting me ramble. If anyone needs any help Email me!!!

Melanie RN :p

Hello, CONGRATULATIONS to you!!!! I too am approaching my final day....this Saturday..it will be my second attempt to pass the NCLEX-RN. I have been studying for the lsat 6 weeks using mainly the Saunder's CD and I also took the Kaplan CD trainer but I found it a lot harder and complicated than the Saunders. Do you mind sharing with me how you prepared for the 2nd one and how was the experience like?? How did you handle the prioritization questions? Especially when you have to admit a new patient but no room is available so you have to either transfer or discharge another patient to make room for the new admission? I really hope you can help me with this...Thank you very much and again CONGRATULATION, MISS RN :balloons: :yelclap:  :yeah: :thankya:

great news!:balloons: :balloons:

see, it can be done.:)
