Nclex RN january 2017

Published

This post is for all those who are taking their nclex rn in January. How are you guys with your review? What materials are you using? Let's encourage each other. Thanks

@cookiecruz your doing good keep working on it. I have 600 questions left with 57%. I continue to write down all rationales to the ones I get wrong or have no clue... Hopefully I will keep my test date & come out with a VICTORY!!!!

@oleacronon thank you but I dnt test til the end of the month...Believe me I'm so ready for this to be over.

Me too testing the end of the month, I haven't finished my studying and i am sure I wouldn't. I just can't wait till this is over, i am so ready to take it LOL

God bless all u guys taking the dreaded NCLEX-RN TODAY!!!!! May the Lord's guidance be with you. Please update us with your experience!!

I'm with you girl. I don't test until the 27th but I already find myself sorta slacking and mind wandering. I'm so over the studying but I know it has to be done. So far in uworld I got my first score at a 48% with a 51% average score-multiple , then I got a 52% with a 49% average-multiple, then a 58% with a 47% average-maternal, a 65% on a 54% average- Children, then last test was a 62% for a 57% average- Mental. These are all 75 question tests...So i see myself steadily improving each time maintaining from mid 50's to low-mid 60's. I hope I can possibly get in the 70's but if not thats ok, I'm focusing on reading each rationale. I SUCK at SATA but hopefully I can get a little better at it through time. So far I'm in the 75th percentile with 1500 questions left to take at 58%..median is a 48th percentile. I almost want to push my date back even further ...lol.

we have the same test date!!!! We can do this!!

Hi!

I took the test today! I got there about an hour early and they let me in early to take it. It shut off at 75 questions. It took me about an hour and 15 minutes. I had 21 SATA questions and multiple choice. Contrary to what I was expecting, I left the testing center feeling pretty good with my answers. I didn't have any questions with content that I had absolutely no idea on. I was able to critically think and make great educated guesses on each question. I did the PVT and have gotten the "GOOD POP UP". I am hoping that my board of nursing will solidify my assumptions and tell me I passed!

i just took it an hour ago!!! tried the pvt got this The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time. i dont want to count my eggs before the hatch but has the pvt ever been wrong.

ps if you are reading u world rationals, dont give up!!! there were at least 12 questions that were asking the same thing as u world questions. not word for word but close enough. i kept thinking gosh i remember writing this down. ( maybe just got lucky.

good luck everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMGG YAYYY!! CONGRATULATIONS. The PVT DEF works. You are now an RN. How was the test compared to Uworld ?? Was it easier than uworld or harder? I heard the Sata's were easier on the NCLEX. And what was the majority of your questions about. This really instills faith in me. Did you just use UWORLD? AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS!!

Also what were ypur scores on UWORLD?

If your test results are on hold that's not the good or bad pop up it just means something is off ex: did your palm scan correctly. I hope you passed.
