How often is the NCLEX-RN given each month? Is there a limit on how many times you can take it? because after I come from a ADN program I plan to enroll in a BSN program. I talked with the lady who is over it today and she told me they accept students in august w/o license however by the following jan you must have passed your test. any help will be appreciated thank you!

Hi. In the NCSBN handbook I got in the mail, it says unlimited times in most of the states...So you can take take it more than once...and you can schedule your test date...just make it at least a month early because sometimes it tends to get full..

You can take the exam most days, some centers do not do NCLEX and some do not open weekends (depends on demand) but each state BON will decide if there is a limit on how many times you can take it and whether you need to do a course of some sort if you fail a certain number of times. The key is to think positive :)
