Welcome, I enjoyed viewing the January 2017 Topic. This post is for all those who are taking their NCLEX RN in February. Please share how you guys are doing with your review? What materials are you using? Lets do the same and encourage each other. Thanks
how about the letter mail thatb you passed? and are you in California?
Hi! Yeah I'm in California- I only got the one packet from the board, which included my license. No other communications from BRN or Pearson (at least not yet)! My license popped up on Breeze 3 days after I took the NCLEX, though.
Surprisingly simple. Well simple meaning that Uworld's questions were definitely a lot harder and wordier. But the questions were completely random. I had majority OB and Peds content, 1 EKG strip with the easiest rhythm (vfib), no math, and ALOT of priority questions. Literally thought I failed coming out because there were some questions that I didn't know about the content they were talking about but NCLEX is pretty much testing how you think. You can't know everything and I think the test reflects that. Know your strategies and have a good foundation of content and you're good.
Still cant believe it XD
Took my NCLEX Thursday 2/23 and passed with 75 questions!!!!! UWORLD UWORLD UWORLD!! The NCLEX is a replicate of Uworld which makes taking the exam a lot more comforting. I also bought the NCSBN course but felt that it didn't really work for me. Be confident and don't overthink, if I can do it so can everyone else!!!!! 😬
Thankyou so much, i am doing the repeat of the incorrect question getting them pretty much all correct, because u world taught to think why would you pick this answer over the other answer.
i am suppose to be feeling more nervous, but i am not...i don't want to seem to overconfident on my self.
I also did around 100 questions from one of Saunders book and some questions from the NCLEX Mastery app, but I was doing the app during school so I didn't really use it to study. I also took this weird diagnostic test on nclexcracker.com and it said I had good chance of passing.I feel as if I have improved so much over the past 2.5 weeks and I'm anxious just to take the dang thing, now!
Took my nclex today (2/28) at 8 am. Took me two hours to do 75 questions. Honestly I felt "blah" when I answered everything. I got a few med questions, more than a few Sata (10/15), at one point it felt like every other question was SATA. I felt like I could not remember a thing I studied but nevertheless, I answered and prayed for no more than 75 questions, no matter what. I got a lot of maternity, peds and psych questions. I didn't do the pvt trick because I heard mixed reviews about if it works or not and I didn't want to psych myself out over nothing so instead I checked the ni license verification site, before it said pending, now at 1pm it said active with a license number. I know it's preliminary so not 100% rejoicing yet but it's a good sign, i think .
