NCLEX RN Exam! HELP! (May 2017)

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello Everybody!

I'm testing NCLEX RN Exam at the end of May. I'm focusing on UWORLD as the rationales are really on point! I also have Saunders, LaCharity and other resources but I prefer Uworld and I use it most times. My problem is, I'm only scoring about 51.2% in the Uworld Qbank (did not answer yet the incorrect ones) with 1,300 more questions left. I have 26 days to go to finish the entire Qbank. I'm also working at the same time as a CNA and reduced my hours to part-time now. Did any of you pass with an average or below average score in Uworld? How was it?

I'm just so nervous with my scores. I feel like I still have a lot to learn. I would really appreciate your comments esp those who took the exam already and only used Uworld as their resources.

Thank you! God bless.

I will be taking mine too ths month, i'm nervous. I used saunders my q banks score are bet 60%-80%

I did the assesment i ran out of time i wasnt even half of the 75 questions when it stopped. i got 40% i only and low passing i message uworld to see if they could reset the block time for me so i could finish the assessment. So disappointing to see low passing. Has any if you got uworld low score but passes the nclex?

Am yet to take mine but personally know someone who passed after Uworld assessment percentage of 34%.He passed with 76 questions

Really? Thats nice. I hope i pass. Are you using uworld too?

Yes I am using Uworld too.And it's my prayer we all pass í ½í¸Š

My exam is approaching.....God help me... Im freaking out!!!lol....Keep calm and study I guess

Me too! I'm having butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it! I have 10 days left. May God be with us. Hope we pass the test! :)

I am taking my exam in a few hours. I have a 98% chance of passing according to my ATI predictor, but I'm really nervous and I kept wondering if I made the right decision to take my exam this soon (I just graduated exactly three weeks ago and received my ATT last week). I only had ATI and Hurst to help me prepare and I focused on doing practice questions for the most part. I don't feel particularly prepared because nursing concepts are just too broad and it is not possible to know everything. That being said, I am hoping for the best!

I got a 96% on my predictor back in April, just recently finished capstone and graduated. I have not really studied but I feel like my school (Baker School of Nursing) has prepared me well enough because our dean held NCLEX review classes, which is awesome because she also has written questions for the NCLEX. Like I said, I haven't studied much and I actually test in about 4 days. I've used Saunders comprehensive review, if you buy the new book, it has an online link in which you can activate and basically test your strengths and it will tell you how well you scored. It has a pre-test, post-test, and you can also choose specific exam content. It will give you a percentage on all the categories and will provide a study calendar based on your results. I've been scoring in the 60-69% so I hope that means I'm ready for the NCLEX?

No idea how this will go, I have TERRIBLE testing anxiety! Hopefully, my comment was someone helpful? LOL BEST OF LUCK!

I take my test tomorrow at 2pm!!! So nervous!!!!

I've been studying uWorld!

I've only completed around 800 questions, with a percentage of 66.5%, 91st percentile.

Took Test 1 Assessment on the 17th, and got a 64%, 74th percentile, "very high" chance of passing.

Took Test 2 Assessment today, and got 68%, 86th percentile, "very high" chance of passing.

Had the HESI exit test on April 12th, got a 1034, 89.67% conversion score, 93.26 percentile.

Slightly freaking out because of the millions of possible questions that could be asked of me tomorrow! Also kind of at that part where I'm done with studying and will accept my fate if I don't do well.

I wish I could fast forward 48 hours! :(

Congrats!!!! Did you only use uworld? How long have u been studying? :)

Hi Franzp0823 Sorry for the late reply. I also used saunders (purple book), read it from cover to cover. Than did the qs at end of chapters only and used mastery app to do more of the topic qs. Also used LaCharity, HeyRona, and the 35 pg. Only studied 4-5 hours a day. 3 weeks before test, I just focus on Uworld ONLY to get used to of the Nclex style qs. I studied for 2.5 months because it is my second time, I can't afford those refresher course, this was self pace, and I don't want to fail again. Hope this helps.
