Hello Everybody!
I'm testing NCLEX RN Exam at the end of May. I'm focusing on UWORLD as the rationales are really on point! I also have Saunders, LaCharity and other resources but I prefer Uworld and I use it most times. My problem is, I'm only scoring about 51.2% in the Uworld Qbank (did not answer yet the incorrect ones) with 1,300 more questions left. I have 26 days to go to finish the entire Qbank. I'm also working at the same time as a CNA and reduced my hours to part-time now. Did any of you pass with an average or below average score in Uworld? How was it?
I'm just so nervous with my scores. I feel like I still have a lot to learn. I would really appreciate your comments esp those who took the exam already and only used Uworld as their resources.
Thank you! God bless.
Hello Issah2016! Good luck on your NCLEX! I used UWORLD exclusively and 1500 out of the 2000 questions. I think the most important thing was to read the rationales. I found them to be very helpful and informative and did a beautiful job at explaining why some answers were correct and or why it was not. Hope this helps!
Thank you tweedy902! In God's will, hope I pass the test! I agree with you on Uworld. It's a huge help for me too now that my test date is cloooose! I feel like I gained more confidence in answering the questions. :)
Hi everyone! Im a pinay too. Just resigned from my hospital work to focus on my nclex. Already had eligibility way back 2015, just kept delaying it coz of fear. Lol. Im actually thinking of enrolling in Rachel allen review center as all my friends enrolled there and passed. But it is really costly, around 26k php! Reading your comments made me think of self studying using Uworld. I have nclex books here dated 2012-2013 and I'm thinking if these books will still help?? My sister in US advised me to enroll in ncsbn online as that's what she used in reviewing for her nclex. Reading your positive feedback in uworld makes me want to enroll in uworld instead rather than commuting 2-3hrs to a review center. (Depending on traffic)
Is uworld really better than ncsbn? Also, how did you self-study and for how long? I'm having a really hard time in self discipline and avoiding distractions. I'm doing this full time now.

Hola Franzp0823!! I think whatever you feel comfortable with would be good. I have different review materials too but I find Uworld really helpful than the rest of them. LaCharity is also good for Leadership & Mgt. I think you should try Uworld's trial version first and see if you're gona like it. Duno if NCSBN have a trial version. From the reviews I've read, they said that NCSBNs questions are mostly basic like nclex-mastery app. Although they are the ones making the nclex, their questions are nothing compared to Uworld. My friend pass the test using Uworld alone. That's why I picked Uworld!
I've been studying for a month and a half now. I'm also working in Rehab as CNA. During my days-off, I'd go to the Library to study.
Hello Franz, We have a same situation. Taking mine on June 12. Im doing Uworld exclusively. I hope I pass this time. I also even resigned my job to focus on this. When you are going to take the test btw?

I'm taking my exam same as yours too! I'm so nervous. I couldn't sleep at night. I work and at the same time study whenever i get a chance. Also i'm a mom of a toddler. Sometimes i only get 3 or 5 hrs of sleep. Yeah i know it's crazy. I'm so anxious knowing my exam is coming up. I graduated like 8 yrs ago. My scores in uworld ranging between 50%-65% but mostly 48 im only doing uworld.
i'm really hoping to pass. Is there anybody here who had below scores in uworld but pass the nclex?
Hey Nursery2015, We're almost have the same scores doing Uworld. However, when I took the incorrect test I got a 75% of scores. I felt the same way too knowing my exam is very soon. for now, lets just study and study and I hope these will pay off..... About you, since you are working make sure to plan a head, get some off days before your exam date and have some enough sleep so you can concentrate answering those questions. good luck to us.
Good luck everyone, I just got my licensed today. I used Uworld, finishing at 62%.
Self assessment 60% placing me at "very high" chance.
This was my second time, and it shut off at 75....I could not believe it.
Just make sure you understand what the question is asking, and only pick what SATA is asking for.
Relax, breath, you all got this!!!
Congrats!!!! Did you only use uworld? How long have u been studying? :)
