can anyone give me any last min. words of advise / wisdom??? I'm freaking & ask that all who read this will say a prayer for me please! Thanks for any info & for the prayers!!!!!
BTW, using davis q&a to study
Thanks for responding! I feel like I'm going to scream! After reviewing all nurses today, I did do the pvt & I got the pop up message saying I cant schedule a test & call the number if theres a problem.. How accurate is this, do you know? I see a bunch of people say it's accurate but they all pass, have you known anyone who hasn't passed & they let them register? Ahhhh! Wish I could have a drink but I'm prego!
keep your head up and keep thinking positive. I took the Nclex-RN Monday June, 27 and the test cut off at 75 questions. I thought I was going to die right there. I got home went to bed and got up this morning and done the pvt and I got the good pop up, but I am still having anxiety about this. Just try to keep your head up..
It was the same for me. I could not register again. I know the method behind the madness is that it won't let you re-register if there is no need because you passed. I have read everything on here about pvt and haven't seen any who did it by the steps that havent passed. That still isnt offical enough for me, I want to see my name with a license number beside it, but it gave me some hope earlier today.
Ok, I took my boards today and my test seems very similar to yours. Mine cut off at 75, I walked out of the testing center and started crying, I thought for sure I absolutely failed it. I did the "trick" and got the good pop up, try to relax tonight if you can. I'm the same boat as you are! I'm sure you did fabulous, and if you're getting the good pop up that's a very good sign. I'm the 14th person out of 28 that has taken this test from my class...everybody that passed got the good pop up, hang in there!
100% of the class from my school last year said the trick worked 100% of the time. Everybody passed, got the good pop up. The one person that failed, was sent to the credit card screen. I know it isn't official, I feel the same way. I'll only be comforted by the fact that somebody from my board of nursing tells me I passed and I see it on the website.
Took the test today too. shut off at 75 and I didn't know ANY of the answers...yet i walked out with a huge smile on my face b/c I know if I had questions that were that hard and about things I had NEVER heard of before...then I was probably in the "good" area. Did the PVT and it's good enough for me (for now!) I'm ready to celebrate! Let's just hope to god I'm not the exception to the PVT rule!!

Did you try the pearson vue trick? It's very common for people to leave the exam feeling like they failed. I think if it shut off in 76 questions, that's a good sign.
Try the PVT and let us know!
