Good day everyone, kindly advise me w/ regards to my application for NCLEX-RN please. I am an internationally educated nurse applying to take the NCLEX RN. I already submitted all of the requirements and application to the NM BON, and a day after they received it, they sent me an email, stating that " file is now complete with the NM Board of Nursing and you need to register with Pearson Vue for the NCLEX RN Exam. Please notify the Board by responding to this email when your registration is complete".
To my understanding, once they receive everything, 3-4mos they will assess my documents and then send me an eligibility letter, then register AND pay at pearson vue then get the ATT that is only valid for 90 days. I registered w/ Pearson & responded to NM BON's email, confirming if this is already my eligibility letter, and do I already have to pay & such. They sent me email " informing you that you completed everything in order to test"; "Any questions regarding the exam or the payment your provide PearsonVue to test, questions will need to be referred to them. Your file with NM BON with expire 1-/--/20-- and will have to reapply all over again if you do not pass before this date"
I would like to clarify that I can now proceed w/ payment w/ Pearson? Is the eligibility letter that email stating that my file is now complete???
Sincerest thanks to anyone who will advice, it is very much appreciated.. I would just like to be sure and seek advice from you guys who are familiar w/ this than me or went through also the same procedure.

As above I would say check with the BON but it does appear as if they have given you eligibility to sit NCLEX

Yes, that's eligibility, you need to register to PearsonVue. After that, you need to inform the NM BON that you're done with the registration.
I would like to thank you and site for helping me in my NCLEX-RN applications woes. I highly appreciate it and the time that you took to answer my query. Thank you so very much, I have passed the NCLEX RN just this September and wanted to extend my utmost gratitude to you and everyone who has answered my post.
