NCLEX Review book recs?

Anyone familiar with the ATI books for ncles reviews? I'm not sure how effective they are but my school uses them, and we are required to get them.

Is the saunders book you guys refer to the comprehensive review one?

Asides from saunders, what is the 2nd best comprehensive ncles review book to get?

We used the ATI books too,(the CD's were a waste of time) they books were helpful when I didn't remember something and needed the specifics to look it up. But I test better when I practice question after question. As I said before I used the Saunders (yes it is a comprehensive review book) and the Kaplin both were extremely useful. The Princeton Review Nclex Rn is also a great book. If you are interested let me know and I will get the isbn # for you. :nurse:

I found conflicting info between some of the books. I thought Saunders was good and then Kaplan. I feel like recommending Saunders is beating a dead horse around here, but it truely is the closest. Same question length etc.

I think for me the biggest part about studying was just keeping my mind on that track.

Of course, I don't know if I passed yet or not so.... :imbar

I'm preparing for the NCLEX with Lippincott. Has anyone used that with success of the NCLEX?

I have been using Kaplan, Saunders and Lippincott. I feel that Kaplan helps with test preparation and strategies, Saunders breaks down information, and Lippincott is just a great question bank because it has so many! But, I will keep you posted! Take NCLEX on March 14, 2006.

I liked Saunders for content review, but after taking the NCLEX, I thought the questions in Lippincott were closer to the type I had on the NCLEX. I've heard the same about the Kaplan book.
