NCLEX Results???

Hello Everyone!!!

I just took the NCLEX Tuesday in Charlotte and I must admit that I will soon be approaching the 'High' level of anxiety! I've talked to different individuals who say that you will know when you check the nc state board website to verify your license, and as you know i've done that all yesterday. I was confident that i passed but now i have doubts; I stop at between 100-125 questions (I forgot how many i had). How often is the system updated? Do i have to wait 4weeks to get a letter telling me that i passed or failed? Help!

I took mine on a Friday, and found out on a Wed. I think they run the tests on Tues and Fri, so they might not have ran it until yesterday. Good luck. And yes, I got a letter saying I had passed, and they were still waiting on my criminal background check (which took forever, baffles me since I don't have a criminal backgorund!). -Andrea

Thanks Andrea; I PASSED!! I received my letter yesterday (4 days after the test). Boy do they (nx boards) know how to torture someone's emotions!!

No kidding! I had found out a few days before the NCLEX that I was pregnant. What an emotional roller coaster I was on! lol Congrats on passing!!! -Andrea

Congratulations to both of you!!! I'm not sure if it was the instructors that told us or if it was the BON when they came to talk to us, that as soon as you take your test your results are sent somewhere and if you passed your license is printed either that day or the next and then mailed out. That was in Kansas, I'm not sure if it varies from state to state. I took my NCLEXPN on a Wed. and had my license on Fri. Now I'm preparing for the NCLEXRN:)
