1. how many questions did you take on nclex? 95-100 (i forgot the exact amount) 2. what study materials did you use? did you take a test review course? saunders, kaplan strategy book 3. did your son offer any testing (eri, ati, hesi)? eri (had to score above the national grade), arnett (which is very similar to the nclex style of testing), and mosby's assess test (which was the hardest i think). we had to score above the national average on all 3 in order to graduate. this statement alone was enough to pushed me. i figured if i can pass all three of these test, i could pass nclex! 4. how long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? i found out via mail in 4 days (tested on tuesday and letter came saturday). my information was not posted on the website because my criminal background check was not finished (not that i have a record); but i received my att and took my exam within a 2 week period of nc state board receiving my fees. 5. what were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? i went into the testing center filled with such confidence and i didn't think i failed, and then i did the inevitable...i attempted to look up every question that boggled my brain (i do not recommend this)! this was the point when my doubts poured in and i was thinking that i may have failed. but my husband was confident that i passed (convenient, right?!) 6. was this your first attempt at nclex?yes and i passed!. good luck to those who are waiting and ++++ thoughts for those who are waiting on results!!
