Does anyone know how fast you get your nclex results after you take it? Is there a way to look online at the California BON?

there is a what they call PVT (its unofficial,well why not to try!) its 100% accurate! everyone was saying its a "good pop up"..Goodluck to you!

RN or PN? RN in CA is about 1-2 weeks or so VN is longer. There are more delays this time of year due to all the new grads

Well, you can try to look up if you've been issued a license:

CA BRN license: Board of Registered Nursing

CA BVNPT license: Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians

On either site, select "Online Verification".

Keep in mind that they only update it during weekdays. I also don't know how long it takes between you passing the NCLEX and your being licensed and listed on either site. It may be a few hours...or a few weeks.

I found out 3 days after I took the nclex RN. My name appears on the BON. I got my actual license in the mail about 2 weeks after I took my test.

Its the NCLEX-RN. I take it in June so I'm just getting antsy about it. I'm from Ohio but I applied to the CA board because I am moving there. Many of my Ohio friends knew their results by checking the BON the next day. Some even the same night. Thanks everyone!

I took the NCLEX-RN for California in February and 2 days later my name was on the Board of Registered Nursing website. You can check the license verification, if your name is there then you passed :). Here is the link: http://www.rn.ca.gov/online_services/perm-verif.shtml

If it takes longer than 2 days for your name to show up do not panic, I hear the wait time varies. You receive the paper notification and your license card in the mail after a couple weeks (but I think that part can take up to 4 weeks, especially right after May graduation when the largest number of people take the exam).

Mine took forever! But that's because I had a problem with my school sending transcripts. But they guy I spoke with on the phone said "no news is good news, if you fail they send out the failure notice right away regardless if all your paperwork is there"

I passed! I got my results 3 days after!
