I am from Ohio and the BON posts in 24 hrs or less so why aren't Pearson quick results sooner? Why pay when you can get it free sooner? Just a thought that was crossing through my mind as I wait as patiently as possible.

That is their policy in case there are issues with anything. And if you look at their website, it states that results are available two business days after testing.
There are actually one or two states where by the time that the nurse got home, they had their license issued if they had to drive several hours to the testing center.
But there are checks and balances that need to be done. As well as the fact that only 1/2 of the states participate in Quick Results.
Best of luck as you start your new career.
I understand, just thought why pay when you can have official results for free and faster.
One more thing. I have been reading things online (hopefully not very reliable) that if you miss the last question on 75 you fail the test. Any insight for that one?

Just a myth, the last question maybe a test question as no one knows which are test and which isn't
Not everyone has to pay the fee for the Quick Results and that is why it is not paid until the time is there for you to check your results, if you do not have them already.
Each state has their own BON and they are the ones that issue licenses. Pearson-Vue does not issue a license and therefore their results are even stated as being unofficial.
There are those that do not want to wait for their state to post their licensure number so if the state is one of 27, then they will pay the fee.
But it is most definitely not required of anyone.
Best of luck to you while you wait for your results.
