NCLEX results pending...,meltdown

Published

I took my nursing boards today and my computer shut off around 79 or 80 I stopped watching after 75...I think I only took 5 or 6 more questions after that. It took me about an hour and half...I'm starting to freak out though...I know I did really well on some parts of the exam and then other parts I just sat there with no clue as to what the answer was. I understand this is normal...does anyone know if they give you all 25 test questions (the ones that don't count for or against you) when you only answer 80ish questions? Do many people fail at 80 questions? Dear god make the next 36 hours go by faster this is driving me insane.

I walked out of the test POSITIVE I failed because I felt I got so many "basic" questions... I had knots in my stomach waiting to try the Pearson vue trick but ended up passing. I definitely think it's common to feel like that.

Good luck and I hope you passed!!!

Daisy, i wish i'll find my exam like yours and end up passed. 'm taking mine on friday and it drives me crazy~:banghead:

there was one poster who said he/she took the NCLEX and got his/her result in 3hours through the phone.

i forgot which post was that but i can swear i read it just 2days ago..

I read that to. I think she called the pearsonvue 1-900 #.

I took NCLEX yesterday too and walked out of there with my head spinning around like the Exorcist. Some of the meds and diseases they threw at me I've never heard of before and had to make an 'educated guess'. I knew I failed and was preparing myself to continue studying and fork out another $200. But when I came home, I did the trick and got the pop up!! I felt a lot better because I was starting to lose it. I don't want to celebrate until I get official results tomorrow.

Good luck to all of you!

updateeee!!

i tried the pearson vue "trick" today and i couldn't re-register!!! i'm hoping the trick really works...i'm holding my celebrating until tomorrow when i can call the pearson vue. i tried calling today just for the hell of it and the automated voice system said my results weren't in yet. only 14 hours until i can really celebrate (hopefully!!!)

I just took mine Tues,09/15/09.I had a similar problem,I just had about 75-85 question.I was expecting more,I was in a daze...I was confident enough to know some of the question. I was stump with few meds, but I didn't have any dosage calculation.I don't know if I pass or fail,I 'm suppose to have my result tomorrow.Man,,,I just dread the waiting.Just crossing my figure.

Don't put yourself through that torture.

Search the threads and find the Pearson Vue Trick.

Make sure your results are in "delivered" status...you'll know by this afternoon if you passed or not.

The "trick" is very reliable.
