Nursing Students NCLEX

Has anyone that took the NCLEX June of 2017 gotten their results yet? I took mine on the 20th and I still haven't heard back. The processing dates say they should have processed my results this week, but when I called the guy said i still have to wait 2-4 weeks. Anyone else heard anything different?

Has anyone looked at their test date on their Pearson Vue account? At the moment mine says "result not available", so I'm wondering if that means they don't have my results yet either... Does anyone else's say something different?

Hi, I took my nclex pn on June 21 got the good pop up but no result from the mail yet, did you get yours already? Pls keep me posted, Im n Ca thanks

I still haven't rec'd my notice in the mail, but, i was able to apply for my initial LVN license on Breeze...i cut a corner by doing so b4 i got my letter, hoping it wrks in my favor

Hi,

I took my rn nclex on 6/23 and I am on the same boat no results. I tried calling the board yesterday but I couldn't get through due to high volume calls. My Pearson vue account states the same "results not available". I am going to call both Pearson vue and CA Board hopefully I can get through, I will update , hopefully they fix the problem soon, I am exhausted from having to wait and worry. I am also in Northern CA.

California doesn't have the 48hr quick results. Thank you!

Any update on your end? This waiting game is terrible!

Nope :/ I'm going to call the BRN tomorrow and ask to speak to a supervisor or someone that can give me more information about what's going on.

Some of what you guys are talking about does not make any sense. You have to first apply to the BRN and pay the 150 or 200 if you are getting the interim permit. Then the college you graduate from sends the transcripts to the BRN. In the mean time, you set up your Pearson Vue account and pay for the NCLEX, and then wait for your ATT if the BRN deems your application valid and not other information is needed. Then you schedule your NCLEX and take the exam. You don't need to fill out another application or pay for another license after you have already done it. That makes no sense at all. Now I am no expert on the BRN and sending out licenses, however, all my classmates who have taken the NCLEX have had their license post on the breeze site indicating they have passed and received their official license and documents stating that they have passed (if they have passed) and all the other information that goes along with renewing and continuing education, etc. I am sorry this is very frustrating for some of you, but if your license has not posted on the Breeze site, perhaps it indicates that you may not have passed this time. Perhaps all the "vague" statements saying that you need to wait the full 2-4 weeks indicates that you are getting your candidate performance report in the mail. I don't think they can actually tell you over the phone the status of your license and you just have to wait it out.

I think a lot of the individuals that have been waiting have already gotten the "good" pop up. Also, the BRN has specifically told several of us that there were issues with transmitting our results. Many people have called in past months and years because it had been the full 4-6 weeks and their results had not been posted. The BRN then gave those individuals an email saying they had passed and their license # was posted that same day. I really don't think negativity is what we need right now, so on behalf of all of us anxiously waiting we would appreciated it if this forum was only positive posts.

my schl is in Cali and is an LVN schl. all my classmates once they rec'd their congratulation you passed the NCLEX letters, the next step is to go online to pay for their LVN license then our schl does a reimbursement once you get your license. what our schl does while we are in schl is have us do photo, live scan, and fill out paper wrk to request to take the exam. but EVERY SCHL MIGHT DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY? i dnt knw how the BRN does things, i only knw what the BVNPT process is

I think the RN and LVN process is different. Surfergirl166 are you calling today? I am going to and will update you with what I find out.

surfergirl166, rachpeeps,

I just spoke to someone from CA Board and she wasn't helpful at all, all she told me was that I have to wait 4- 6 weeks to get my results, she wouldn't give me any information, I asked if they received my test results or if there was an issue and she just kept repeating it will take 4 weeks. So frustrating!!!
