Did u take it in June? My classmate took it 6/7 & received her pass letter in 7-8 days.

So, I called Pearson and got a generic "wait 4-6 weeks for your results via the mail" and they were not able to tell me if the BRN had even received my results or not or if there was an error in delivering the results to the BRN

Called the BRN but wasn't even able to get through because of the large call volume they're experiencing

This waiting is killing me. A friend of mine said that SINCE i got the good popup with the PVT and SINCE i havent received my failure notice within a week, then it's a good sign I passed.

Has anyone who has taken the NCLEX recently tried the PVT and got the bad pop up (was charged), I might be psyching myself out, but Im wondering if the only reason I got the good pop up was because its taking them so long to send our results.

Thanks to anyone in advance who responds, my anxiety is through the roof right now.

i took my PN exam on 6/20/17. i ckd PV on 6/21/17 and got the good "pop up". i still haven't rec'd my pass or fail letter yet and i also tested through California. i had previously created a breeze acct and kept checking for an update and nothing. after reading through forums w/questions and responses, i just decided today to go ahead and try to apply and pay for my LVN license. the website allowed me to pay the $150.00 fee. i am hoping this speeds up the process of getting my license if it is already taking 2-4-6 weeks just to receive a "congratulations" letter via mail. i think it's crazy that Cali is like 1 of 5 states that doesn't give you "unofficial results" w/in 48 hrs. but, i guess every state has their own policy and procedures. congratulations to everyone who has already passed! fingers crossed to everyone still waiting for their results! and DON'T GIVE UP to those who didn't pass the nclex on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd try. i failed 3 classes during nursing schl b4 i finally finished so, believe me when i say i know the struggle can be real! our hearts and hands are here to save lives!

I took PN 6/19 in N. CA & have also created a breeze account. You said you paid for your license, but where so you do that? The waiting is torture.

on Breeze under my VN File # it has a drop down menu that says "choose application" and i selected VN initial application for licensure. i filled out everything and made my payment. i rec'd an email confirmation frm BVNPT that my online payment was rec'd. my Breeze acct now says application status "pending". I'm hoping that while I'm waiting on my letter to come that this expedites then having to wait even longer for my license. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS PROCESS WILL WORK OR NOT?

I was clicking around on breeze last week & my understanding of paying the $150 is for "starting a new application by examination." They should already have that application with history, education on file. Anyways when I clicked on it, an error message appears & says you cannot open another application because either: an open application already exists, license is cancelled, or license is delinquent. Interesting that it let you proceed to reopen a new one.

there is a "manage your application" w/a drop dwn menu which is where i went to "apply for my initial license" and below that there is a "start a new application or take an exam" section w/a drop dwn menu. we aren't applying to take the exam (again) and we dnt need an (endorsement, since that is when u are licensed in another state, wanting to get licensed in a new state) and those are the only 2 options under the start a new application. but, again, i cld be wrong by filling out the initial license application, i jus hope that I'm not. í ¾í´ží ¾í´ží ¾í´ž

Believe me I have been analyzing the webite to find information. When I look at the drop down under " manage your application", the only 4 options are: change of name application; request for verification letter; vocational nurse exam RETAKE application; vocational nurse Interim Permit application. I don't have anything that says "initial license." I'm curious, below " manage your application, does it say Vocational Nurse file #*******. Before the drop down of the options?

Below that are the Applications ( start a new application or take an exam) we discussed previously.
