Can anyone help me with this question
HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT TO RE SCHEDULE THE NCLEX AFTER FAILING?
In my state you must wait 45 days to take the test but does anyone else know if you also have to wait 45 days to schedule it?
For Example say I took the NCLEX for the first time on January 1st the first available day I could retake would give or take be Feb 15th. However could could I schedule Feb 15 on let's say Jan 10th?
This is just an example. I'm having a hard time finding out exactly how this works
I got 265 questions and failed. I felt rushed and I will have extended time for my 2nd attempt
Speaking from experience, if you've paid right now, you will get an ATT in about 2 weeks. The ATT will be automatically set to 45 from your last exam. And you can use your ATT number to schedule whenever you want.. after you get the ATT.
SO YES, If you've paid right now to retake in 45 days, you will be able to schedule ANYTIME after you get your ATT and the number on it. Dates after your 45 days wait will be available.
Hope that answers your question.
Here in Ohio ....you can get your ATT a few weeks after you pay all the retake fees ($75/bon..$200/nclex)..But you will not be able to test until 45 days from the last test date. Which you have to count a total of 45 days from last test ...yes weekend days..just a total of 45 days. For me I failed on March 26....I can retake after May 10th if I want to. I want to make sure I understand everything before I schedule myself again...I don't have money to keep giving to people ...my gpa in nursing school was 3.25 but the nclex is a different skilled test for sure.

I happen to be a lucky individual to get the full 265 questions, however I was not successful. I have re-applied and paid all fees. I know you have to wait 45 days to retake, at least in my state. My QUESTION is: How long do you have to wait to schedule this test? I know this to some might seem like I answered my own question I'm not asking how long to take it! I know that would be 45 days. If anyone has advice I'm all ears.
