Dear nursing friends, please help I'm desperate for some advice!!! I just took my nclex and got the full 265 questions. I know it's possible to pass or fail but I'm dying to know! 48hrs is torture! So the fifth to the last question was a SATA but after that they were pretty do able. What do you guys think? Please, I need advice. I am going crazy
this is a great explanation right here on Allnurses.
i love threads like this one because before, I had no idea!
through the grace of God i passed the nclex with 230 question..that test put tears in my eyes. once i hit 75 question and saw that it proceeded to 76
i began to panic it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest.
the first 100 questions i found to be very challenging. a lot of material that i did not learn.
then as the question kept coming they began to look familiar.
the 2.5 hour marker hit and offered me a break i thought it was going to say the test is over...
then the 3.5 hour marker break came i also thought it was going to tell me it was over
once i began to go into the fourth hour i was so scrambled i was just clicking whatever
the looked right first time around to make the test end and put me out of my misery
4.45 hours later and 230 questions down the test was finally over.
Amen. i wanted to cry but didnt even have it in me.
went home panicked for the first 8 hours came on all nurses read about the pvt trick
tried it and got the good pop up and that put my mind at ease until the 48 hr quick results came in
on sunday when i saw passed i really couldn't believe it.
all i can say is THANK GOD!!! because this was truly his miracle
i still check everyday to see if it will change that is how much of a shock it is to me
I felt like the exact same thing happened to me. I just took it today and the time stopped when I was on question 240. I was freaking out after it got up to 100 and toward the end was just guessing just for it to be over, I kept praying for it to just end. I really feel like I failed though. But i'm praying about it, because I really don't want to have to go through something like that again.
