Nclex questions and level of difficulty

Sorry my phone autocorrected. Do math questions mean you are doing poorly etc?

Hi all

I have seen a few posts that mention people who passed in 75 questions got lots of SATA and it is usually a sign you are doing well.

What other types of questions if you get them means you are soing well or poorly? Do math calls mean you aren't doing well etc?

The first question is usually a "easy" question then it goes it up or down from there idk I thought a my SATAs where easy like I was actually like "um is this a joke"

not true..I failed the nclex and trust me my question felt like it was for higher level question, I got SATA's and no calculation..everything was prioritization, client safety and delegation.. I got two memorized knowledge question but it was still hard because you have to analyze which is the correct choice.

The type (SATA, math etc) of question does not imply that you are doing well/poorly. It's just that, a type of question.

I passed my NCLEX with the minimum amount of questions. I had a few math (a 2nd grader could do them) and some SATA. My classmates who had the minimum and passed..a few had what seemed like nothing but SATA and no math, others had math out the wazoo and no SATA. Some had an even mix of all of them.

My first question nearly had me fall out of the chair! It was so difficult! I had zero idea what the answer was, couldn't even begin to guess. Thought to myself, if this is any indication of how hard its going to be I might as well pack it up now.

Don't forget there are many questions in everyone's test that are being used as 'test' questions for a future version of the NCLEX. Whether you get them right or wrong has no bearing on your test nor do they give an indication of how well/poorly you are doing. Many of those could be the dreaded SATA etc.
