Don't be so hard on yourself! I know it is easier said than done, but try to relax until you get your results. I took my test on 04/20, and mine shut off after 75 also and I had a total of 3 select all that apply, and 2 med calculations in additions to priority questions and I passed. (this was my second attempt, I took it back in Feb., and failed after taking all 265). Good luck, relax, take a deep breath and let us know when you find out your passing results!:)

It shut off at 75 questions- what makes me :angryfire is that of those questions 12!!!!!!!!!! were alternate style questions, and 3 on mass casualty situations as who I would see 1st. and many other priority questions. anyone get stuff like that? Haha I could have written that myself after taking my test this morning! I took the PN one, so mine shut off a 85, which is the minimum for ours. I really have no idea what to think. I left half crying (because the type of questions stunned me) and half laughing (because I was so glad it was over), lol. I also narrowed most of mine to two, but then I would just sit there and panic over which of the two to choose. What's really stressing me out is that I am starting a new job on an oncology floor that is totally conditional on me passing this bloody test. So if I fail then I also lose my job. On the same day Waaaaay too much pressure! Good luck to both of us!!!

Good luck guys!!! I also took my test on 4/20. Like occmednurse, I also had few select all that apply, two calculations and a bunch of priority questions. I still have no idea if i have passed or failed the test. This waiting time is killing me. Jr west and earthflower, dont worry. I am sure both of you will pass the test!!
I just found out my"unofficial results" I PASSED!! :balloons: :balloons: I guess I know what to think now, Thanks everyone for your support during this difficult ,trying ,waiting time- what torture that was! Maybe they test you like this cause they want to see how you function under extreme pressure!Good luck to those of you still waiting- hang in there!

Congrats!!! I was going to add that if it stops at 75 quesitons, you either aced the exam or bombed it. So either way, no way of knowing.
Congrats and enjoy being an RN.

Hi I am new on here. I just took my test last week and failed it. It was my first time. I pretty much only had priority questions and I really don't know how to study so I will pass it next time. I was wondering what you did. None of the study tools I have used have priority style questions. HELP!!

Priority questions are based on Common Sense with the ABCs thrown in. You are not going to see them too often for review, and remember that no two patients are going to be alike either.
The exam is interested in knowing what you will do in a certain situation, not facts that you memorized for school.

Well, technically, you missed 50% of the questions. That's how the test works.
I found the test easy to crack. If I got a priority question, and then the next question wasn't a priority and was easy, then I got that last priority question wrong. If I got a priority question and then the next question was a priority question, then I got that question right. You can actually see the zig zap of priority and easy question go back and forth. When I got like 8 priority questions in a row, I knew I was doing fine.
