Graduate in 4years ago, Never took the Test need help how to take EXAM
Hi, I failed my boards the first time I took them. I too had all 265 questions. However, the second time I took them I passed! I took the online NCSBN review, which I found to be VERY helpful. I definitely would recommend that to anyone having problems with that test. Stay positive and have faith. You WILL make it! Good luck. Here is their website, I hope you go and check it out, it is well worth it. (I think Kaplan is a BIG waste of time and money) www.learningtext.com Wendy

nclex- 75 questions- don't know what to think?
Don't be so hard on yourself! I know it is easier said than done, but try to relax until you get your results. I took my test on 04/20, and mine shut off after 75 also and I had a total of 3 select all that apply, and 2 med calculations in additions to priority questions and I passed. (this was my second attempt, I took it back in Feb., and failed after taking all 265). Good luck, relax, take a deep breath and let us know when you find out your passing results!:)

Nervous for upcoming NCLEX-RN Exam
Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you guys know that I am scheduled to take my NCLEX-RN exam for the second time on Wednesday (the 20th). I am very anxious about it and having doubts. I have been doing the NCSBN on line review course plus taking many test questions. However, I can't seem to score higher than 75-82%. Sometimes it seems more like high 60's to 70's. I think a few I got 80's on, but that is it. I just need some encouraging words, or maybe advice on rescheduling it all together. I just don't want to wait too long to test again. I want this so badly, part of me just wants to go and get it over with! Any suggestions anyone? Thanks! Wendy:)

can't seem to pass the NCLEX-RN
No I don't think so, I am still using their on-line study tools. There are some that I didn't use the first time around, so this time I am making sure that I am utilizing everything that they have to offer. I hope that makes a difference in my success.

can't seem to pass the NCLEX-RN
I also took all 265 with near the passing in all but one category. I am so nervous I could puke! My test date is April 20th. We should talk back and forth, maybe we could help each other. It is always better when someone else is going through the same thing and knows exactly how it feels.

can't seem to pass the NCLEX-RN
Suzanne4, I was just replying to the other person who said they have failed the test twice. I have to take mine the second time in April. I don't have the Saunders book. I did the Kaplan live review and the online program, I also used the Lippincott book, this was for the first time around. Now, I am using a different book (not sure of the author), and the cd-rom from springhouse that has the 3500 test questions. I am not sure what the other person has used their first two attempts. can't seem to pass the NCLEX-RN
I also did kaplan and I failed the nclex-rn the first time with all 265 questions. I thought that their review program was horrible, and it did me absolutely no good. I also have the lippincott review book, and I bought two additional books. I also just purchased the springhouse cd-rom software that was updagted in dec 04, that has 3500 questions. I will take the test for the second time on April 20th! I hope that this time goes better for me. As far as the first time I took the test, I was "near the passing standard" on every category! Very frustating. Wendy

What is the best way to study for the NCLEX?
I know that there are people who pass after taking the whole test. However, I unfortunately was not one of them. I took the whole test and I failed it. I am now studying again, and will re-rake it again in April. I sure hope that my next attempt is my last attempt! LOL Good luck to you, I hope you passed.
