hi guys.. i already have the documents w/ me ready to be submitted to BRN in cali.. when will the registration takes place? and how can i have the eligibility and ATT? should i wait for them after i send the documents or after i register? when should i register? i believe i can register online?

pls help!! thanks so much. God bless

go ahead and register, make sure your school sends your transcript, FYI you will need finger printing with registration. After the registration you will recieve notification indicating ur application has been processed (don't delete that message your password will be in there). after all that, wait for your ATT.....

I have moved your post to the International forum as there is plenty of information regarding your licensure application. The process takes approx 4 months as long as paperwork is complete. You are aware that retrogression is in progress and will take you a few years to get to the US and also that CA will not issue you with a hard license until you are in the US with a valid work permit and your application with them expires after 3 years if you have not provided them with a SSN but will stress if you have passed NCLEX you do not have to sit it again. I would suggest a good read in the International forum

Welcome to the site

Also to add you are not applying for the NCLEX but license as RN of which NCLEX is part of the process

actually you can start regestering at the pearsonvue 4-6 weeks after you sent all the requirments.

That may be so but if anything delays your application and it can happen, you can end up rushing as application to pearsonvue is only valid for 12 months. Much better to wait to get OK from BON and then register

We never recommend anyone register with Pearson-Vue until they know that their application has been accepted by the BRN, or any other BON. You never know if there will be an issue with fingerprints, or even just your curriculum and things can get delayed for whatever reason. And the payment to Pearson-Vue is gone if not used within twelve months.

Have seen too many lose their money in the past for registering early, have even see them register with Pearson-Vue before they even applied to a BON.

thanks so much... i think i will just be waiting for the BRN's signal that my documens are all ok b4 i register online.. but how would i know? are they going to send me a notification or something? is that what they call the "eligibility"? how will i know their OK?

thanks again. God bless.

They will send you a letter that you meet the requirements for licensure. I would wait for that, especially since there is a retrogression in place at this time.
