NCLEX PN - Which book helped you the most?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello - I graduate Friday from LPN school :yeah:. I will be applying for my sit date in the next 10 days. So, I am hoping to have a test date by about mid June - which seems to be the timeline for the previous graduating class.

I have been using my green 4th edition Saunders since I started a year ago, we have used it all thru school - it has been my go-to. Recently, I purchased the Saunders Q&A review and the Lippincott NCLEX-PN review for study/practice purposes now that I'm done with school (for use in all my free time).

I guess my big question is for those who have taken the NCLEX, have you found one book over another is closer to the way in which the questions are actually asked on the actual NCLEX itself?

I have lived in my Saunders book for the last year.. so much that I almost have the green book CD memorized... :( with that being said I don't think the Saunders questions prepared me well for the HESI...

So, just looking for some straight-forward advice on the book situation and what those who have been there - done that thought???

thanks a bunch!!

Also, sorry if a dumb question... but what is the "pop up"? I read that in other posts and was wondering what that meant... lol!
