Hi, I took my nclex-pn exam 2 days ago Friday and I tried the trick and unfortunately my payment went through. This is extremely agonizing. I only had 85 questions and I had more than 7 SATA the rest is prioritizing and reinforcement. I would definitely appreciate your feed back. :(

Regarding the 48 business hours quick results, I have seen some post here that says Pearson Vue does not take days off that they post UNOFFICIAL RESULTS even on weekends. Can somebody please help me? I can't sleep I can't eat. Thank you so much.

Do you think the reason why the computer stopped is because I answered it incorrectly?

I just opened pearson vue and the unofficial results are not available yet. What are your thoughts about these?

Be careful posting details about your exam, you are risking your licensing status by posting on a public message board.

Does your state participate in quick results? Did you attempt the registration glitch aka PVT sooner than 24 hours post exam? One question won't determine pass/fail.

The only thing the number of questions indicates is that the computer determined whether or not you meet minimum competency standards within the predetermined statistical confidence interval.

Thank you so much for reminding me that and your patience replying to my concerns. Yes it is participated to the quick results. I did try the glitch and my money went through, they accepted it. I am so nervous. I wonder how certain is that?

Only the results and a license issued (or not) from the BoN are accurate and certain.

Did you check your BoN website? Does it say results on hold?

I did not see my name there. the BON website has been updated January 30th Friday when I took my exam. I probably did not pass. :(

If you did the PVT less than 24 hours after you completed your exam, you did it prematurely, and payment was made based on the initial scoring failure. After 24 hours' time, both sets of scores are final and that's when the PVT pop ups are at all relevant.

Unfortunately, your exam stopping at the minimum number of questions doesn't indicate any "on the fence" type of scoring; the computer stopped at that point because you had definitively passed or definitively failed. Since you were able to pay for another registration, all indications are that you failed.

FWIW, whether or not you got the last question correct doesn't matter. When the computer stops at the minimum number of questions, the candidate is either so far above passing standard that competency has been determined....OR.....the candidate is so far below passing that it is determined competency cannot be demonstrated at that time, no matter how many more questions are offered.

Quick Results that are paid for with an $8 fee to Pearson Vue ARE official results; they are official pass/fail on the exam only. Whether a license is issued is up to the State BoN to which you applied. It's only the PVT that is about as UNofficial as it gets!

I wish I had some better news for you, but unless the registration software really screwed up on you, it does look like you failed :(
