Nclex-pn Test Review Help!!!

Nurses LPN/LVN

I'm taking the NCLEX-PN TEST soon and I just want to know if anyone has some study guides that they want to pass down or share???

Hey man, the best study guides available are: Saunder's and Mosby's. Practice question wise i just found the kaplan question bank for nclex-pn ( it's a website)

wich seems to be the closest i've seen to the actual nclex questions.

Im also challenging the board and already failed the test once. ( i did not use any of the above) ...that's all the intel i have on it. Good luck and let me know if you find a better study guide.

Thanks for the info. I am also studying CLIFFS TEST PREP NCLEX-PN.

RUN, DONT WALK to the bookstore and get Saunders Comprehensive review for NCLEX PN. Its better than the Saunders Q & A. This is the best and only book and cd u need and if used I will tell you 99.9% u will pass first try. It is also the book that most review classes Ive seen around use, which is only a matter of feeding u the info in the book. Also, use the cd for practice questions and try to do 100 a day until a couple of days before the exam. Then just wait and pray ;) Also, I hope u are giving yourself at least a month to study. if its too weeks or less Id say reschedule. good luck!

There's a forum on here under student nursing. It's for those planning on taking the NCLEX-RN & NCLEX-PN. They have a lot of helpful suggestions for those taking both tests. The forum mod over there (Suzanne4) has a developed a program for both test takers and she's had a VERY VERY high success rate with those who have followed her program to the letter. If you don't get the answers you need here, I suggest you go over to the NCLEX discussion forum and find out if that would be helpful to you.

Best of luck to you!

Saunders gets high praise here, I swear some of the people that post here work for saunders LOL, but its major flaw is it does NOT cover priority questions like kaplan and ncsbn.org review do. People that take the boards keep saying the test has so many priority questions. saunders should be one study guide, but not the only guide u use. I highly recommed kaplan.

OH yeah, as far as prioritizing, a teacher gave us this acronym and it literally saved my a$$ on boards bc I did get lots of those questions.

F Find Hypoxia

I Immunocompromised

R Real Bleeding

S Safety

T Try Infection

Thats the order you go by, and of course always remember ABCs but this is more specific! I swear that was the most valuable piece of material I had for boards! lol...
