I'm gonna take My Nclex-PN this early July as well!. hmmm heard people use Saunders 4ed, Lippincott, LaCharity's prioritization, Exam Cram. some people they use Kaplan review course as well. But to me, can't afford it any more so i'm just only go with the book that i told u above. "LaCharity's Prioritization, Delegation Assignment"
oh i use Saunders 4ed during my nursing school so i don't have to buy a new one. However, i just order Lippincotte and LaCharity and i really hope it works! there are so many things to study right?? i don't even know which part of the book should i start first at all! i ask some of the former test takers that Should i read all the chapters from my nursing school books? and they told me that i won't have time to read all of that stuff anymore, all i can do is do as much as questions as u can and if u finish at least 2000 questions u will be more prepare. Do u have any ideas about ur study?
I have not a clue, I was just going to use the one book that I have and the one I just ordered to study. At least for you, your currently in LPN school so the information will be fresh in your head. I completed military medic training like 5 years ago, so I am winging it. It would be nice to have a breakdown/percentage of whats on the test. If i knew what to expect, I think I can prepare myself a little better for it. If you fail, can you retest right away? what state are you in? i'm in california.
Yes i am in CA too. if i failed, i have to wait 45days to retest, but finger cross hopefully we both pass!
Oh i think if u haven't studied for a long time like this, u should do the review class. it might help you to refresh the old memory back to nursing school year:coollook:
I have finished 571 questions on Pharma, in Saunders CD and now i start doing select all the apply questions er another 100 questions or s.th. so yeah 600 Q so far. what about u? where u end up to now?
Mine scheduled for August, right now I'm foccusing on doing 100 questions a day on the Exam Cram book and sturdy the lab values yup lab values I know them but I just go over them everyday for now, when I'm done I will go on the Saunders book and do the same and I have other review books & CDs too I will go trough them couples week b4 the big day .

Hi, Anybody currently studying for the NCLEX/PN and will be taking the exam within the next month or two? did anybody just pass recently? What materials are or did you use? and how long did or have been studying for? I am waiting to hear back from the CA LVN board because I will be challenging the state board soon.
