NCLEX/PN

Hi, Anybody currently studying for the NCLEX/PN and will be taking the exam within the next month or two? did anybody just pass recently? What materials are or did you use? and how long did or have been studying for? I am waiting to hear back from the CA LVN board because I will be challenging the state board soon.

There are many posts where people talk about their study methods. Many say they are successful using the Saunders Comprehensive Review.

Yes, I am very nervous too. I just ordered the saunders book second ed. I want to test in July also but I have yet to study, I guess i am waiting to hear back from the board before it becomes a reality to me.

oh i use Saunders 4ed during my nursing school so i don't have to buy a new one. However, i just order Lippincotte and LaCharity and i really hope it works! there are so many things to study right?? i don't even know which part of the book should i start first at all! i ask some of the former test takers that Should i read all the chapters from my nursing school books? and they told me that i won't have time to read all of that stuff anymore, all i can do is do as much as questions as u can and if u finish at least 2000 questions u will be more prepare. Do u have any ideas about ur study?

I have not a clue, I was just going to use the one book that I have and the one I just ordered to study. At least for you, your currently in LPN school so the information will be fresh in your head. I completed military medic training like 5 years ago, so I am winging it. It would be nice to have a breakdown/percentage of whats on the test. If i knew what to expect, I think I can prepare myself a little better for it. If you fail, can you retest right away? what state are you in? i'm in california.

Yes i am in CA too. if i failed, i have to wait 45days to retest, but finger cross hopefully we both pass!:D

Oh i think if u haven't studied for a long time like this, u should do the review class. it might help you to refresh the old memory back to nursing school year:coollook:

I have finished 571 questions on Pharma, in Saunders CD and now i start doing select all the apply questions er another 100 questions or s.th. so yeah 600 Q so far. what about u? where u end up to now?
