Thank you, I will definitely look into this study material. I already signed up with TCN but I have a 3 day grace period and I will be cancelling tomorrow. The entire package was way to much money and I am not trying to go into debt especially from study material. Is it true that ISU give you a list of books to buy for studying? Oh gosh I have alot of studying ahead of me, if i want to make the November 1 deadline. I am a bit discouraged. I still have to take the PN, Cleps,4 CSMs, and Teas.

never mind, its intro to computing Dsst. I am still unsure about the 65 test score. has anybody taken this DSST test and passed, and applied to ISU? I am planning to test out of this one. Also for the DSST Technical Writing, which English requirement does this satisfy? ENG 105, 107, or 340? Thanks

I am in the same boat as you, I might just have to bite the bullet and buy them from TCN. I hope I can get a deal. My guess will be that everyone have the materials is actually using them to study, so they can make the November deadline.

where are you taking the computer course at? I'm studying for A&P and taking spanish. I take Micro in Aug. What test have you taken so far? I'm trying to meet the November 1 deadline for ISU..

whats the name of the clep test I can take for information technology? and is the score of 65 still required? or what online CC or university can I take this requirement at? Thanks

thank you, i really appreciate your thorough response:). i still need chem, college algebra, and information tech for sure. i am unsure about (a&p and micro) but i will definitely apply for gen admissions to isu for the dar. i emailed a isu counselor and she helped me out a lot with a few questions i had. i still have a few more to ask her..lol

I have not a clue, I was just going to use the one book that I have and the one I just ordered to study. At least for you, your currently in LPN school so the information will be fresh in your head. I completed military medic training like 5 years ago, so I am winging it. It would be nice to have a breakdown/percentage of whats on the test. If i knew what to expect, I think I can prepare myself a little better for it. If you fail, can you retest right away? what state are you in? i'm in california.

I am currently reading through the 100+ pages to this thread, but please forgive me if this question has already been answered. Do anybody know if military credits transfer over to ISU (for former military medics)? like especially A&P and Micro:D. Also I've taken statistics and biomedical statistics, do I still have to take college algebra? I tried asking the ISU rep but they kept referring me to TCN or is there a different POC that can help me with my evaluation. Thanks
