  1. "Do not give up", remember you worked hard to become that nurse and if you need to pursue your license until 2020 then do so. I was told that by a friend right before I graduated in 2009. I know exactly what you're going through my dear, I had prior misdemeanors and they were about 7 years old. I still had to get certificates of relief from the courthouses and letters from my co workers, Boss, Pastor from my church and various organizations that i did charity for. that was heart wrenching process but it well worth it. My advise to you is starting collecting letters from people in your community who know you and seek certificates of relief from courthouse and even offer the BON to do more community service before licensure, believe it or not they sometimes will allow to sit for your boards and after you complete there recommendations they will give you your license.
  2. same book I'm using. If this takes the edge off, my co-worker tested at syracuse site and she loved it there, so much she is tring to get me to test there when i'm ready.
  3. My next test is sociology, definitly cleping test at area community college. Hey beach you said you're taking your cpne in saratoga NY? if so I live in the area and i've heard alot of good reviews about the instructors there, actual one of them i have seen once or twice at saratoga hospital. She has a very nice personality and seems easy to work with.
  4. :yeah::yeah: Oh my what a monster test, I tell i could not sleep all nite. This was my first exam and I am so happy to have gotten a B. Thanks to beachnurse and study group101, i was able to study the right material for the past 3 weeks. I am so ready to conquer the adn program now. Last semester I went to a brick and mortar college and barely just passed biology. It would've taken two semesters to get A & P 1 and 2 done the traditional way. I will highly reccomend excelsior to any of my fellow lpn's. my next exam will be clep sociology. and thanks beachnurse your posts really helps:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe
