Nclex PN study/passing tips :)

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi All! I'm a recent graduate from PN School (August 9th)!! So happy to have made it and can not wait to begin my career as an LPN.... wait I have to pass the boards first :( Does anyone have any tips for studying/Passing. There are so many resources like books, cds, etc.. and there is always the $400 Kaplan Review Course or the $143 Qbank. I take my boards November 29th and I'm also 7 months expecting with my first- a boy! So the pressure is on for me to pass the first time! Thanks all!! :)

P.S. I have purchased Marlene Hurst Review Book as well as Kaplans PN 2013-2014 Review Book.

Congrats on graduating! I graduated in June and recently passed the boards. Here's how I studied... 1/2 way through the program I started studying on my iPhone with the NCLEX-PN Mastery app. After graduation, I used Virtual-ATI and NCSBN, which were both provided by my school. I also used Kaplan and Saunders books. I studied 4-6hrs./day for 2 months and passed the NCLEX with just 85q. I suggest you use as many sources as you can because everything tests different. You want a variety because that's how NCLEX is. Best of luck to you!
