NCLEX PN Stopped at 85.

Hi. im new to this. I took my NCLEX PN exam friday 08/21/09.

It stopped at 85 and i completely FREAKED OUT. I think i Failed. Has anyone heard of somebody failing at 85???

My test was HARD!!! My test focused on pure Medications, SATA, Infection and Prioritizing. The wait is agonizing!! i cant even sleep.

is 85 good... is it bad....? any help is useful. :icon_roll

You can pass or fail with 85 questions. You just can not predict with this exam. Good luck

I'm sure all of us have been through this freaking out stage, but please remove those words "I think I failed" to I know I passed. I think I must of said this many, many times a day until I received the results, and now I'll say it for you. I KNOW YOU PASSED. :yeah: Good Luck

Hi! I took mine on the 20th. I also had 85 questions with the same type of questions you had. When the screen went blank at 85, I was relieved it was over, but knew that there were probably only 10-15 questions that I was certain of the answer. I took it 3 hours from my home, and just reran those questions in my mind over and over.

Did the Pearsonvue trick, it gave me hope and Saturday morning I found out that I passed!!! Now on to my last year of school...

Wow, I feel the same way as hoping to be RN. I stopped at 85 Q's and could barely make it through the exam. I just hope I passed.

hello everyone i took my pn nclex exam on the 09/17 and it stopped at 85 questions. when that happened my heart dropped becasue i was like is that it. everyone was praying for me becasue this is my second time and my job position kinda depends on it. i am so nervous and need to pass this exam. i keep reading post and asking others and most peeps say that they pass with question ranging from 85 to 150. so i am going crazy checkin the mail box everyday hoping for some results. i want to say that i passed but there is a doubt that i could be one of those with 85 questions and failed. the first time took the exam i got 205 questions and failed. since then i have studied a lil harder using different books and cds. i need something to happen for me. i pray. any advice for me?

Were the questions very difficult at the end? Like a lot of "select all that apply"? I was told that if you have reached these difficult questions, it means you have answered a lot correct.

well i had a lot of pharm questions 3 fill in the blanks, about 10 SATA, a lot of priority, very lil medsurg, and one chart question. They were kinda all over the place. so i don't know. I am have been saying with the up most confidence that my license is in the mail.

Me and two of my other classmates passed with 85 Q's, so it is a great sign.
