NCLEX PN shut off @ 85 questions

Here I am sitting here stomach boiling palms sweaty after taking the NCLEX PN:heartbeat!!! I am so scared and confused I walked in there after sitting in my car (which by the way battery died while in the parking lot of the testing center:no:) and sat down and took my test. Now it only took me an hr to complete 85 questions and I got a ton or nutrition and select all that apply and the DREADED:cry: PHARMACOLOGY. I sat there and felt that I didnt know ANYTHING..... I clicked along read my Positive thinking statements that I wrote on my eraseable board and BAM it cut off at 85 questions...Could I be just that dumb........Pray for me :bow: and Prayfully I will have some good news in two days

i just took NCLEX today and felt so horrible afterward. I literally trembled on my seat in testing center. It took me about 2.5 hr to answer 85 questions. I wasn't sure about 98% of my answers. Only 1 % of the answers I am sure of, and the remaining 1 % is........? The remaining 1 % questions are drugs that I have never seen or didn't study. The questions asked for adverse effects which I had no clue what they are. So, I guessed it! Although some people said that people who got cut off at 85 quetions most of them passes. But, I am still so worried. :sniff::sniff::sniff::sniff::sniff::sniff:

As what anxiously waiting said, let GO and let GOD!!!

I called CA BON three days ago, the lady said they already sent out the result up to sept 29th. ugghhh....what takes them so long? I'm anxious, I think I fail, but again...I still want to see the result in my hand:redbeathe

Do not loose hope, you probably did good.

I waited 5 weeks and 1 day for the result, and you are not alone with what you are feeling. Believe me, I have been there.

Also, I that was my second time taking the test and luckily I passed the second time.

Just keep thinking positive thoughts and you will be glad that you did!

Thanx tilapia...what book did you use? In case I don't pass the first time.

after exactly 5 weeks the results are in . . . i passed nclex!!! thank god for this wouldn't be possible without him. thank you for everyone's support on this website (tilapia05 & cjandaval, especially). for all the californians waiting . . . just let go & let god!!! if you did your part and studied god will do the rest! thanks again!

After 3 weeks and 6 days of waiting....I finally got the result.

hi my name is jay, i took my test today @ august 11 and it shut off at 85.... i was so anxious that my brain is blank when i leave the test room.. this is my 3rd time. my first shut off at 205 my second is on 85 and now still 85 with i believe 8 - 9 SATA and more infection control and new meds..

please pray for me i really need this to pass my family has been relying on me to get this one, i reviewed with my best shot and i know god will do the rest..

I just took my NCLEX PN a few hours ago, I swear I know I failed!!! I am soooo sick to my stomach and want to cry. I only had 85 questions, mustly Pharm and select all. PLEASE say a prayer for me!!!

This are the area I am really worried about. SATA's, pharma and Infection Control..they give too much of this on the exam I had last time...so CRAZY. This will be my 3rd time to take it on September. I have set up a plan to study and i will stick to it this time. Failing twice still hunt me and make it hard to concentrate but i will do my best to learn the content and study more drugs..I dont undertand why they make the test so hard..where not doctors.for god sake..I really pray and hope i pass this time. This is all i have and my life has been on hold for a long time now since this is the only thing that stop me from having the life i wanted..and be a good nurse. Who ever those nurses who participate to make this exam so hard to pass..I HOPE YOU ARE ALL CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT..knowing that you torture all this new nursing grad..to get there license...Good luck to all the repeat test takers..I hope that we all pass this time..:smokin:

hey hang in there! I know how it feels going up for my fourth time! WE can do it dont give up and just keep focusing. I believe that ever time you go up for boards you do better than before. I know i do hopefully this time will be better for me. I know its hard but you are not alone! I know this might sound crazy but I kinda thank god for my set backs with nursing. I know in the end I will appreciate more in life and I will be the best nurse ever. I see myself growing so much from my failures with nursing. I just happy that he gives me another chance. I am so tired of studying not mentally but just the actual cycle. I am studying but not over pushing it. Remember what god has for you no one can take it away! Once you get it yours! Peace
