Nursing Students NCLEX

HI! I have taken the NCLEX PN 3 times and failed every single one of them. I have numerous books to study from and taken 2 courses of Lifesavers and still.. failed. I am so discouraged. I have been trying to pass this test since I graduated back in 2005. I really want to pass this test this time and I just dont know what to anymore. Please.. any advice would be useful. Thanks.. :crying2:

I too felt completely overwelmed and discouraged when it came to the Nclex, then I discovered Diana Lane. She is the most amazing instructor and tutor, she has a way of teaching that I have never seen before. Needless to say after her review course and her DVDs I passed and couldnt be happier. I would suggest her to Everyone I know. check out her website; Nursingthelaneway.org

****! I have just taken the Nclex-PN and it was by far the most intense exam i have ever taken. Let me share a few things: I received the academic excellence award for being the top of my class with a 4.0 throughout the entire PN program. I studied my butt off through out to make sure i had a clear understanding of the topics taught. By this i mean, on a cellular level. For instance, if the topic was about Rheumatoid Arthritis, make sure that you not only know the Signs and symptoms and nursing interventions but also why do it occur. So many student fail the nclex because (ATI) tests our knowledge on that. But Nclex wants to make sure we know the cellular (most important piece) of Rhematoid Arthritis. So it may ask a question pertaining to how it occurs. When thinking back what we were taught in nursing school we know that its from an INFECTION right? So this will help you narrow down your choices in regards to that. If you know the cellular level of all the topics and Signs and symptoms, then you will do fine on the Nclex. Know the WHY of every topic you were taught in nursing school. I kept a copy of my syllabus and went through each topic because if they had to teach it in class, then it must be important for the Nclex. My NCLEX went through all 205 questions! Yes i was pulling my hair out. I was so nervous. I had about 55 SATA, 31 put in order.. but they say if you get lots of those then you are being asked on a high level. In the end i PASSED and I'm so happy to move on to the next level... FYI: some say just answer a lot of questions and you will be fine. DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE!!. Knowing the content is the key, period!! Good luck to all

One last thing. don't waste your money on any of these review courses. Believe in yourself. Know you can do this! Don't take the quick way because at the end of the day if you know the content you will pass if you don't know the content with the review course or not, you will fail!
