PVT trick?

I recently had my NCLEX PN exam on May 1st here in cali and telling my self not to do the PVT trick.

this is my 3rd exam now and i really really want to pass. On my 1st and 2nd exam, i finish the whole 205 questions; but for the 3rd one it stopped at 102-103 questions.

After 4 days, it tried to do the PVT trick since im really really anxious knowing if i pass or fail. However, when i tried to do the trick, i changed my cc expiry date and it didnt went thru, and it appeared on my cc. but on the pearson page, i dont have a schedule exam (u know when u register and u have a current existing application)

so now, im worried. i dont know if i did the trick right; + knowing that it might be a bad pop up and i failed again..

anyone who experienced this too? what shoul i do?

Your post is a little confusing. Did you get charged $200? You said "it didn't went thru" and then you said "it appeared on my cc". So, charged? Or not?

If you were charged it is most likely because another exam is needed, and you have now paid for it. You would still have to schedule it.

If you weren't charged and got a message telling you (after you submitted the payment request) that you could NOT schedule another exam, then that's likely that you passed.

If you passed but got charged because of the PVT thing you will have thrown out two hundred bucks.

Best I can tell you is to wait for official results at this point and not risk more money lost (if that's what happened). PVT doesn't really help anyone's anxiety, as you found out, so my advice would be to do something to distract yourself until you can find out from the BON what the story is.

Yes, I was charged $200 but on the Pearson Vue Acct under the receipts, there is no transaction at all.

Sounds like you fell into the small group of people who got caught playing the PVT game :(

All you can do now is wait and see if you actually failed. If you did, and you have a credit card receipt showing you were in fact charged $200, you may have to prove it to Pearson Vue in order to register again. If you passed you will have donated $200, you can't get that back.

I really wish people would stop doing that stupid game.

For the meantime, see if you can go do something to get your mind off it, exercise or play with the dog. There's nothing you can do but wait for information at this point.

Very nervous! Took nclex on 5/04/17. Cut off at 85 questions in 3 hrs. Was dressed out in my car and

Did the PVT, this is what it said " our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. another registration cannot be made at this time."

Please help.

Looks like you passed; that's the message they all say you get when you passed the exam. If it allows you to pay or says declined payment you failed. Congrats !

I took my exam April 12th still no results

What state did you take your NCLEX RN? I took mine 05/06/17 and I have not gotten my results either. I'm in California and it's killing me how long I've been waiting

I took the NCLEX on a Tuesday in CA. My tested ended at 75. I than realized I either did really good or really and and started to panic. I than started googling how common it is to fail with 75. Then I stumbled upon the PVT and decided to try it.

Needless to say I got the BAD pop up. I tried it at least 20x within 36 hours. Over and over again, I used expired credit cards, gift cards all the tricks. I was ONE step away from paying and I NEVER got the good pop up.

I was so depressed. I didn't want to talk to anyone and basically hid away for 2 days. When I was starting to accept my fate, I decided to check at My breeze account shortly after midnight and Then my license number popped up!!!

I PASSED! I couldn't believe it. I checked it over and over again. I then went to Pearson and my results have not been Updated. So my license showed up about 8 hours before the 48 hour mark.

Just wanted to let you all know THERE IS STILL a chance if you get the BAD POP UP

You did it wrong.You have to hit the "submit " button in order to perfofm the PVT.
