Published

My road map to success. I took my exam last march 13, 2013 and got the letter today that I passed. I'm a mother of 3 yrs old and 3 months old. It's hard for me to study but I challenged my self to wake up every morning for 5 weeks and do q and a from ncsbn online review for 2 hours only.

1. I do exercise for 15-30 minutes before i will study. @ I read a study that if u exercise before u study your brain will increase 30% brain retention

2. I studied Q and A from ncsbn online review for Two hours each day for 5 weeks.

3. I will do 100-150 questions a day and i am consistent about it. I made a calendar for my progress tracking of my percentages.

4. I will spend time to read and rationalize the wrong and right answers.

5.I pray before and after studying

6. I Eat healthy foods.

A week before my exam:

1. I got 80-90% of all my exams.

2. I studied normal values, calculations, drugs and etc.

3. Listen to my recordings with endo and neuro.

3 days of my exam:

1. I went to church and prayed.

2. No more studying and I do relax and read inspiring quotes and bible verses.

On the day of my exam:

1. I got 18 select all that applies

2. 2 drugs only

3. One procedure

4. 2 positioning s

5. 3 exhibits

6. Prioritization's, delegations and assignments.

7. I shut off at 85 and I knew I passed because I got select all that applies and got endo and neuro questions.

Messages: With my situations that I have 2 kids with infant and it's tough but I made it. You can make it too and their is no reason to think its hard but with god's grace I passed it.

Be positive, read inspiring messages, trust your self for you are the one who can make your dreams come true and no one will fulfill it for u.

Dcmom,

I met you here for a purpose and I do believe God gave me a reason to inspire you for we have common story. I did that I submitted all the requirements they asked and after that they gave me a letter that saying I need to go back to school. I got upset for few weeks and I gathered my self back and applied for my lvn. I waited for my lvn for 4-5 months to be eligible and finally I passed it. God gave me trials which made me a strong person. I'm just here Dcmom.

Of course you can Dcmom! I came here in US with my family last Thanksgiving. I was 32 weeks pregnant, family didn't have a car, with very little money on hand, so stressed with CGFNS requirements, and very worried about giving birth without insurance. But I lifted everything to God and He provided for everything we needed. :) My husband immediately got a job, my father-in-law gave us one of his cars, my sister-in-law shares her home with us and also borrowed NCLEX reviewers (Saunders, Lacharity, Kaplan) from her co-workers for me to use, and I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in a county hospital last January. 2 weeks post-partum I started reviewing for NCLEX. Did it for 1 1/2 mos for 3 hours/day. It was difficult at first but it was doable! Just keep praying, attend to your kids and play with them (they are our biggest motivators), devote a few hours to review everyday, and rest if you need to.[/quote']
