Nclex-pn June 2017

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi everyone, so I took my test June 7, 2017.

I felt great going in and even when the test shut off at 88-90 questions. (After 85 I stopped looking) I felt like it was too easy, I had select all apply, cardio, delegating, and maternal. Absolutely no math and about 2 pharm questions.

Im in California and we don't have quick results it's about a 6 week wait.

so, of course right after I left the building I sat in my car and tried the pvt. took me to the cc page and I entered an expired credit card and said credit card declined call bank. So naturally I balled my eyes out since that's the bad pop up. I tried again 24 hrs later and 48hrs later same pop up. Credit card declined. Call bank. I feel completely defeated. This was my second time taking the nclex Pn. First time it stopped at 107-9 questions. I have read a lot about the pvt is revamped for 2017 and they caught up with the trick and it no longer works? Thoughts?

Don't give up. Try using UWorld preparation!

thank you very much for your encouragement. I wont give up :)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't give up !! I just took the test for the 4th time on june 9th, and finally got the good pop !! I have 3 kids and had to plan my own wedding last year. studied super heavy using Uworld and other question bank apps on my iPhone. I also watched a lot of youtube videos on REmar review to give me easier ways of remember the meds I was having issues with . it will happen for you !!

Hello,

I do greatly appreciate the words of encouragement. They mean a lot to me. I am really trying here. Between 2 kids a full time job and going through this process to be be able to test is so stressful, but I've made it this far by not giving up so I wont be doing that now. This means too much to me. I have used Uworld to study for my exit and I also had to do the NCSBN review. I really like both. These things are just so expensive. Once again thank you very much

Try uworld....I failed the first time did uworld passed at 105 questions it is sooooo worth it make sure you read your rationales it looks just like the test you won't lose

I'm in California and the PVT does work. I took my NCLEX-PN in April. I got around 180-190 questions. I got my letter a week later and got my card a week after.

I read half of the Saunders 3rd edition and I did all the practice exam on the Exam-prep (instead of the exam cram, probably the same thing) for PN. My school use ATI so during the course of the 14 months we had a lot of practice quiz which I thought was a lot harder than the actual NCLEX-PN.

You waited only for a week and got your results in the mail? Thats pretty fast compared to others that are about 4-6wks waiting time...

Did you took the test already?

Lsc10 how long did you wait? Did PVT works for you?

Hello,

I took my NCLEX PN August 23, 2017. I tried PVT and got the good pop-up! It has been over a week now. Hopefully I'll receive my official results by tomorrow. Also, I am able to pay through the breeze website to get my initial license. As to not get the hassle of waiting a month or so when you apply by mail. Let's see how long this would take! As of now it's still pending on the breeze website. Good luck to all!

I got my congratulatory letter today. PVT is freakin alive it worked for me.

Job hunting is next...

This whole experience was surreal. Can't wait to start this journey of my life. Thank you to all. I'm out. Peace!!✌
